In the morning I woke up with sweat beating down my face and I must've been screaming because of my bloody throat. I then got up and made breakfast. I accidentally dropped a glass cup on the floor and it shattered , but there's no time to clean it up. I rush out the door and begin walking to work. When i arrive at work i saw Christian in the parking lot, he is a good friend of mine, maybe my only friend. Back when my family was...gone, he used to come and bring me dinner and we used to play video games together until i got put in foster care. We were like best friends back then because, for a moment i would forget about everything about all my worries, and have fun. We grew apart and never really talked when i was jumping from family to family in foster care until i was 16. I finally got released from foster care because some mysterious person that couldn't care to leave a name of photo or any thing as to who they are paid for a home on the outskirts of town in a sort of trashy neighborhood. It was a good house and it was fully furnished, this person also paid everything from internet to power. I walked up to Christian and said hello, as i began to ask why he was here until he answered my thoughts by saying, "I actually have a job here now, i am a deli worker." I was happy to know i would have at least one person to talk to, although it was kind of awkward talking to him after such a long time. He looked so much older and more mature, he is 3 years older than me and was always my secondary family. As we approached the doors, we waved at each other then went separate ways, him to the deli, and me to the back of the store to begin the day. As the day passed and lunch came I went out to a small park by my work, and sat on a bench and ate my food. While i was eating Christian walked up next to me and sat down, he started to eat his food. Christian was always like an older brother to me we got along like siblings and we had a lot in common like best friends. We talked for all of our 30 minute lunch break and went back inside to finish the day. When the work day was over I signed out i began to walk home, remembering what happened the night before I got a sudden rush of anxiety and began walking faster. I got to my door, shut it, locked it, then turned on the light. I removed my shoes and took the hair tie out of my hair. As Walk into the kitchen to get some water before I went to bed I step on the shards of glass, and both my feet began to bleed. I rush around to clean the glass leaving bloody foot prints everywhere. Something in the living room made a noise, and I am terrified after the night before, I had no other thought than to run outside, i almost tripped over a white kitten with blue eyes, in the street. When i saw the cat i felt comforted and i didn't feel so scared. She looked like she hasn't been washed in ages, So i took her inside, fed her some ham from the fridge and bathed her. I Decided to keep her because I've always wanted a pet and maybe I wouldn't be so lonley. I think she needs a name, how about Crystal. Me and Crystal go up stairs and she sleeps on my stomach and I stare at the ceiling all night.
