Chapter 15:A Story

(Ave's pov)Wedding Day

I cried, I just kept on crying. My family and the boys...are gone. How could I let this happen?

I was laying on Talon's bed, the pillow I'm crying into is soaked with my tears, but I don't care. I lost the people who were always there for me.

I felt Kio run his hand through my hair. "Ave..I'm sorry this happened." He says softly.

I sat up and wiped the tears away from my red,tear soaked, swollen eyes.

I ruffled Kio's hair. "Don't apologize, none of this is your fault sweetie."

He comes over and hugs me. I wrap my arms around him.

Kio is the only good thing that has happened. He is the only piece of happiness I have now.

I let him go and kissed his forehead. I heard a knock at the door. I told whoever it was to come in.

It was Rozis, she came over and hugged me. "Ave..I'm sorry for what has happened to your family." She holds me tighter.

So she knows my family is gone..I bet Talon lied to her about how it happened.

She let me go and helped me stand up. She cupped my face in her hands.

"Ave I know you are sad and mourning over your loss..but do you think your family would want you to cry and give up?"

I thought for a second...she was right. They always told me to be strong and if something bad happened to live my life.

But, I couldn't it was too hard. I missed my family, and them being gone is the thing that broke me.

I felt Rozis wipe the tears away from my face.

"You don't know how I feel, how much it hurts." I say.

She hugged me again. I actually hugged her back, maybe I just need a positive atmosphere or someone comforting me.

"Ave I do know what it is like to lose someone close to you." She says.

We pulled away. "What do you mean?" I wipe some tears away.

She took a deep breath. "After I gave birth to Talon, four years later I had another child."

I nodded. "She was my eldest daughter, Sia, she was a very beautiful and kind girl, Talon cared for her dearly." I could tell Rozis wanted to cry.

"So, her and Talon had a close relationship?" I question.

She nodded. "He was very happy knowing he will have a sibling soon." She says.

So Talon had a sister close to his age. I always thought Malin was the second oldest.

"When they were older, Talon became quite protective of his sister, he wouldn't even let her have male friends."

What the fuck?!?! He stopped her from having dudes as friends!! I mean that is a little bit much.

"You and your husband were okay with him doing that?" I raise my eyebrow while asking.

"We knew he was just looking out for her, like a good brother."

I nodded. "What happened to Sia?" I ask.

"We were celebrating her fifteenth summer, she was so excited about it. She wore her long blue party gown and curled her hair for the first time. It was her happiest day. Then later on that night, my daughter went missing."

Her daughter went missing at her own party, I know that must have hurt.

"We ordered the guards to search the castle, but they could not find her, they said she possibly ran away."
