Final Chapter:A Wish

(Ave's pov)

After I said that, Kio still gave me a confused look.

"Can you explain to me what the hell is going on?!" Samantha asks.

I nod. But we went outside of the room, I didn't want Kio to hear all of this. I explained everything to Samantha, the murders of my family, the rape, everything. When I was done explaining everything she had a look of hatred and disgust on her face.

"That sick fucked up piece of dog shit." She says angrily.

"Yeah, but now I got something on his twisted ass." I say confidently.

She nods. We walk back in the room and Kio looked up at us.

"What is going to happen?" He asks.

I sat beside him and ruffled his hair.

"Something really good." I say.

I saw Samantha pacing around the room. She was really thinking hard about something.

"What is on your mind Sam?" I ask.

"Just a plan B just in cause plan A blows up in our faces." She replies.

I nodded in agreement. The plans blowing up in our faces is the last thing we need. I looked at Kio, he was looking at a locket. I couldn't really see the picture that was inside of it, but I'm pretty sure it's his parents.

"Kio, is it okay if I look at the picture?" I ask softly. He nods and hands me the locket.

I see four people in the picture. A woman who has dark blue hair and black eyes. A man with dark gray hair and blue eyes. And a little girl with blue eyes and blue hair. They all were cat people just like Kio.

I gave the locket back to Kio. He looked at it again and quickly put it around his neck. So that was Kio's family, they seemed so happy.

"I miss them Ave. I miss my mother holding me and telling me nice things. My father always telling me to do my best. And my sister always being there for me when I needed someone to talk with." He says sadly. I see the tears pouring down his face.

He got in my lap and started crying into my chest. I wrapped an arm around him and used the other to rub his back. Why does bad stuff happen to such good people?

Samantha eventually sat down on the bed and relaxed a little. I saw the door open and I was surprised at who I saw.

"Do you mind if I talk with you Ave?" Olk asks.

I was honestly hesitant to talk to him. He might be tricking me or something. I felt Kio hold me tighter. I took a look at Samantha, she was giving a nod. So she wants me to talk to Olk? I probably should, I might be able to get some information out of him. I told Kio to stay with Samantha and I will be right back.

I left the room and I was now in the hallway with Olk.

"What do you want to talk about?" I ask.

"I just want your opinion of Talon. He is my closest friend and I would really like to know." He replies.

"I hate the bastard and I want him to fall off a cliff and go blind." I say smoothly. I could hear Kio crying in the room. I told Olk goodbye and I went back in the room. I went towards Kio and he literally jumped into my arms.

"That kid really loves and cares about you. I think now is a good time to put step one of plan A into action Ave." Samantha says before laying down in the bed. I nod in agreement, leave the room, and I search for Rozis.
