Three minutes later I was ready for school. "Bye everyone!" I yelled from the front door and got a few replies.

"Bye Crystal." My older sister Kristen said walking in the hallway.

Ffion ran up to me and gave me a massive hug, "Bye crystal!" She said happily.

"By sweety." My mum said walking in the same hallway Kristen walked through. I opened up the front door and was about to walk out when I heard a yell and foot steps running towards me.

"Crystal! Wait up!" My brother said as I walked down the driveway. He shut the front door behind and ran to catch me. "Slow down." He demanded exhausted.

But I just ignored him and kept walking. He kept trying to talk to me but I didn't bother talking back. "Crystal!" He yelled in my ear making me death for a few seconds.

"What!" I snapped back stopping. "Why arnt you talking to me?" He said stopping as well.

"Just can't be bothered talking." I said and started walking again. It's 8:10 in the morning, who would want to talk. I'd rather be in my warm bed then walking to school on a cold day.

He was silent for the rest of the way and when we got there we went our different ways.

I was walking past the Australian flag we have in the middle of our school when I heard laughing behind me. I took a glimpse of who was laughing and of course it was little miss popular.

Emma and her friends were laughing and pointing, at me. I ignored it and kept walking until I heard Emma whisper, "Look at her, she's so fat." They all giggled and I stopped and turned to face Emma. "What did you just call me." I asked calmly.

She just stood there looking at me with disgust with her skirt rolled up above her knees, her shirt tucked in, wearing her bag on both her shoulders. While I stood in front of her with my bag on one shoulder holding my phone in my left hand that I soon tucked in my pocket.

"Excuse me but I might be fat but at least I have a good personality. It doesn't mater what's on the outside. What matters is what's on the inside. But I guess you're ugly inside and out." She looked shocked that I had said that and had no comeback.

I turned around proud with myself I had the courage say that and started to walk to my locker. The laughing stopped and it was just silent.

You could hear the branches sway in the wind and see the leaves twirl around in circles. It was beautiful, see how I used the word was?

"Crystal!" Jazzy said walking beside me. Great, the beautiful silence was stopped and I'm basically being forced to socialise. "Hi." I said faintly not wanting to talk. But then someone else walked by my side,"Hey Crystal." Matt greeted. Great! Now I HAVE to socialise. "Hey." I said mentally rolling my eyes. "Well someone's not in a mood to talk." Matt said elbowing me. "Well sorry, but I hardly got a any sleep." I said crossing my arms. "Says the one that woke me up at what time in the morning!" I stopped and walked off from those two leaving them walking together. "C'mon!" Matt said probably thinking I'd come back. Nope.

"Fuck off Matt." I yelled from far away. I had finally got away from them and got to my locker. I wasn't in the mood for anything, which reminds me I got a detention at lunch. Yay. The good part is it means I don't have to socialise with anyone, and the bad part is I'm stuck in a room with Mason for half an hour.

I put in my combination and opened my locker. I put my bag in and grabbed my diary to see what I had today.

I grabbed my pencil case, diary, earplugs, iPad and inquiry book. We didn't really need anything for drama since we usually play games. I shut the door of my locker and guess who was there. Matt. He scratched the back of his head,

"Sorry for snapping at you earlier." I sighed and walked off. He then followed me. "So how are you going with the mysterious call from last night?" I once again sighed and walked faster but he stopped me by grabbing my shoulder. "What's wrong?" He said a bit worried. "Nothing! Haven't you got the hints? I don't wanna talk!"

He released my arm and I continued walking leaving him standing there puzzled. My walking soon turned into running. I ran to my spot where I usually sit at alone.

There was a beautiful big tree with branches hanging down, and beautiful coloured leaves and flowers that covered the ground and the thing I loved most about this spot was it was a spot no one else knew of. It was secret, and it was mine. I ran to the tree and sat at the stump of it.

I put my stuff beside me and leant back on the tree. I tucked my head into my knees and started crying. Why was I crying though? I have no idea. Maybe Emma's words finally got to me. Maybe I was pressured into speaking to people when I usually wouldn't say a word. Why did I snap at Matt. Why did I not talk to Jazzy or Ryan today. All these thoughts flowed through my head. I let myself cry knowing it would just hurt more to keep it in.

I lifted my head up tears running down my face one after another and my vision blurry. I wiped my tears away clearing my vision. And for a while I just looked around at my surroundings taking in how beautiful it was and forgetting about everything else.

"Luckily I didn't decide to put makeup on today." I said to myself smiling and still wiping my tears away. The bell rang and I picked up my stuff and walked to my home group class.
