Montigo was a fire-based wizard. You could use all types, but speed, agility, and poison type magic seemed to do the trick for you and were the most recommended by you're village. The only thing you could think if was the most unstable magic the has been known to kill many, including the caster.

It's for Montigo, you thought, Even though it may kill me, I have to do it.

You had to master fire type magic, and you had to do this within three days because one day, you went to go spy on the Griffin. He had called upon several other jungle elders (Fairy, Monkey, Gorilla, Frog, and Snake) to tell them, "I am leaving. There is no more prey for me here save that wretched girl, but I promised her that I would not kill her. In three days time, I will go and search for a lively place to hunt relentlessly. Just one more thing that I need from you: do not let that girl leave this jungle. She could cause more damage than any of you combined. You know the threats."

The process in mastering a particular field of magic came in four steps:
1. Absorb the magic type you wish to possess.
2. Understand the magic type.
3. Use the magic type.
4. Level your understanding more until you achieve mastery.

These steps are the most basic representation of this, you remembered.

"The deeper you get into the millions of magic types," you recall the old magic teacher in Pui saying, "the more complicated these steps get." The thought dampened your spirit slightly, so you pushed the memory away.

You decided to see if burning your self would work. You built a massive, circular fire that you could run around in. You activated your running magic to accelerate your own motion and ran. You ran for hours in the thick, yellow-red flames. By the time you stopped, the flames had completely gone out.

You expected to be burned or at least have a smudge of ash somewhere on you but nothing. You were unscathed.
Did I absorb it already? you asked yourself when you noticed a slight glow coming from behind you.

You turned quickly and grabbed your sword to defend yourself. To your suprise, your own sword blinded you with its intense fiery luminance.

"So that's where it all went," you said calmly although you were kind of scared, bewildered, and surprised to say the least.

Now, all you had to do was understand this new found "fire sword," but you first decided to give it a name. All of the famous wizards with magical weaponry had a name for them. Your dad had Splasher. He was a water-based wizard. Your mom had Storm Shadow because the blade could summon storms, and she used it in her torchure chambers to cut people's eyes out that made the torchured only see shadows: Storm Shadow. Kind if creepy, but your village was not the most liked...

You shuddered at the thought.

Accidental Flame, you decided mentally, will be the name of the blade that takes down and ultimitely destroy fhe Griffin. I will get my revenge, for you, Montigo...

With multiple swings if your sword, you slam it into its sheath and hear a satisfying shing.
