The chapter is all about them & their secret life behind her bedroom.

Sole witness being Destiny and Hope.

It was 2011 when Aunt Jeanie returned home from her world tour. Though she looked still beautiful, we could still see time had took it's toll on her and she looked much older than her age. Nonetheless she was happy with her life. She came to home with two beautiful girls and claimed them to be her daughters. Both were two and after further queries, we found out they were adopted. They were named Paris and Alaska.

Aunt Jeanie was the most secretive person in our family. Andrew followed after. They both always seemed mysterious and quiet. We have always seen her writing in a notebook. It was not a diary but a very colorful notebook which seemed to arouse my curiosity at the most.

Both 13 year olds, me and Hope always used to talk about the diary and how many adventures she might have written there. We hoped to get that and read about her so silent life and know about the places around the world. But we never got the perfect moment.

Andrew was a good student. Better than me and I was jealous of him. But, I loved him more. More than I loved Hope and Ray. But, that year, things became weird for him without any reason. He got D in Maths and Physics. That's when Aunt Jeanie volunteered to be her tutor. Apparently she studied science in college though I heard later, she was a dropout and left to travel.

Andrew started becoming more close to her and that's how I got detached from him. Every time I went to talk to him, he was busy. Either he was going to school or to Aunt Jeanie's room. A year passed by and there was still no sign of him going out or hanging around with us. In the meantime, he told me once about Marta and his budding relationship with her. But that was it. I knew nothing else.

He grew more and more close to Aunt Jeanie and it bugged me. I got curious and Hope wanted to help me out of it by trying to investigate what's the matter with Andrew.

One fine day, as soon as Andrew left for school we rushed to his room. We knew we would be missing school that day but we had our excuse ready. We had projects to complete. Opening the door to his room as swiftly as possible we entered. Believe me, when I say it was as clean as it could be. His bed had no mattress on and no pillows. It was as bare like Thor Desert. We were even more shocked to see no books on his table or even the shelves. No sign of football either. We calmed our nerves saying, "Maybe he took it to school for his practice." But at the back of our head, we knew something was wrong, because he had dropped out of all the social activities six months back and football was one of them. We opened his wardrobe to find no clothes at all. Every part of his room was like barren. It was like a deja-vu condition.

We were scared to death. Except for the furniture there was nothing. Andrew lived in the topmost floor of our three storeyed house. He made the attic his room because of his love for peace. The attic was large enough for him. Us cousins used to stay in the third floor with Aunt Jeanie after she returned.

Each room was big enough and me, Hope, Misty and Ray used to share a room with three beds and separate belongings.

Another room was assigned for Ryan and Rebel. The boy's room. Andrew used to stay with them but then he needed his private space. That's when he shifted to the attic, taking his belongings with him two years back.
