Sage's POV:
Ugh. 2am. I sat up slowly hoping I wouldn't disturb Kyle. "Stay." His tired voice whispered as his hand gripped my wrist.
"I can't..." I whispered back, turning around to look at him. He looked beautiful even in the dim moon light. His blue eyes were shinning brighter than ever as he stared back at me. His, usually neat, blond hair was sticking up all over the place.
"Come on..." He whined pulling me down to the bed and climbing on top of me.
"I cant..." I groaned as I stared into his eyes.
"Saggeeee..." Kyle whined as he lowered himself closer to him. "Who's more important...me or the guys?"
"Well. you, of course."
He smiled and sat up, tossing my cellphone at me.
I took in a deep breath and opened up a new text message. I shook my head and closed my phone. "I have to go. I'll be back by morning. Get some sleep." Without saying another word, or even giving another glance to Kyle, I walked out of the bedroom.
I threw my clothes down in the laundry room as I darted out of the house, transforming as I ran. I was going to be late, the guys were going to kill me.
"You're late." Rylie pointed out as I approached them.
"He's right..." Leo whispered.
"I'm shocked you even came with that hottie in your bed." Aiden laughed then his facial expression became serious again. "Leo, Rylie, you take north side. Sage and I will stay on the south side. Go." As he barked out the orders Rylie and Leo ran off.
"I have to be back before he wakes up..."
"You ever think it'd be better just to tell him?" Aiden suggested as we paced around.
"And what if he tells someone else?!"
"Rylie told Chloe." He pointed as we turned around and started in the opposite direction. "If you care about your little boyfriend...I'd tell him. He's gonna start thinking things, you and I both know this."
I gave a slow nodd. Eventually, eventually I would tell Kyle.
Kyle's POV:
It's been over an hour now. I'm staring at the clock as my vision blurs. Tears are streaming down my face. "Out with the guys" yeah right! I bet he's beautiful or maybe, just maybe, she's beautiful. Maybe this was all a joke. Maybe he was only trying to spare my feelings. Maybe he's a cheating, lying whore bag.
Aidan. I can remember him saying to meet him at 2. It's Aiden. Go figure. He has everything I don't. The big muscles and the flippy hair. The deep green eyes. He's beautiful. He's pushy. He's everything a guy like Sage needs, obviously. I can never be that.
I rubbed my eyes helplessly as thoughts of Aidan and Sage filled my mind. Horrible images over came me as the door opened slowly. I flipped on the lamp beside of the bed.
There Sage stood, shocked, as he tried to wiggle on his boxers quickly. Great! He didn't even have the decency to put his clothes back on before coming home! Tears were leaving my eyes at a more rapid pace now.
When he looked up and saw my face he came rushing over, throwing his arms around me, but I shoved him away. "Get away from me you cheating bastard!" I choked out as he stumbled backwards.
"What are you talking about Kyle?" He asked in a confused tone as he regained his balance.
"You know what I'm talking about! Just dump me already! I'm sorry for getting in the way of you and Aidan!"
"Kyle! There's nothing going on between Aidan and I!" He told me calmly grabbing my wrists and pushing me back onto the bed. "Look at me, Kyle."
I shook my head and closed my eyes. I wasn't going to listen to his bullshit.
He let out a groan and pressed his lips to mine. I could only fight him over it for so long before I was kissing him back. Our tongues danced as his grip on my wrists slowly loosened. His fingers made their way into my hair as I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer to me. His lips pulled from mine slowly, before he began kissing up my neck slowly, stopping right below my ear. "Will you please hear me out?"
I nodded slowly. My anger was slipping away from me as I continued to pull him closer to me. My tears were drying. How could I stay mad? How could I have ever gotten so mad? Why did I lay a hand on him that wasn't loving?
"Thank you." He kissed my lips gently before pulling away. "I need to show you something." He climbed off of me and walked to the door quickly to close the door. He pulled down his boxers quickly and a blush came across his cheeks. "I...uh..."
"You're beautiful." I smiled from my seat on the bed. It's true. He is absolutely beautiful. Just...wow...
"Hope you'll think so in a moment." He muttered before doing something I've never quite seen before. He gave a little jump and body stretched out. His body turned to fur and a tail came out, ears appeared and within seconds a beautiful wolf was lying on the floor in front of me. It had happened so quickly.
"I-i-it's you.." I choked as I climbed off the bed, walking slowly to wear he laid. I knelt down beside of him. "Can...I touch you?"
The dog, I mean...Sage, nudged my arm gently and licked me. Even as a wolf he was beautiful. His fur was the same beautiful color as his hair. Eyes still remained brown, but had more of a shine to them.
Before my eyes his figure turned back into a human form and he was scrambling to put his boxers on. I didn't know what to say. What could I say? I had accused him of cheating on me. I had called him all sorts of horrible things. I pushed him away. Oh god. What could I say?
"We just had patrol..." He whispered, bringing himself closer to me.
"It's you..."
Sage's POV:
There were tears in his eyes as he looked at me. He looked so pitiful. His beautiful eyes were now red and puffy. They were still full of water. I pulled him into a tight embrace, rubbing his back while he whimpered quietly into my shoulder.
"I'm so...sorry..." He whispered in between sobs.
I didn't say a word but rubbed his back gently. This was my fault. I should have told him soon. We could have avoided this whole mess. I stood up slowly, pulling him up with me. I pulled away from his grip and looked him over sigh. He looked so innocent. How could I have let him get upset? I took in a deep breath before picking him up, bridal style, and laying him down on the bed.
His eyes were wide as I climbed onto him, straddling him on my hands and knees. "Look at me, beautiful..." His eyes reached mine after a few moments. I smiled. Good. Eye contact is good, right? "I love you. I would never hurt you like that."
"I love you too." He whispered softly, giving a faint smile.
"Good cause otherwise I'd have to bite you!" I exclaimed in a whisper.
"You can bite me now? If you want..." He suggested with a devilish grin. Kyle was one of the weirdo's that "liked it rough" I guess you could say. Being the gentle person that I am, his oddfetishs make my life quite interesting.
"I'm not going to bite you..." I laughed rolling my eyes.
"Then I'll bite you, babe!" His eyes flickered with excitement as he gave me a devilish grin.
I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "No biting."
He brought his lips to mine slowly. They were soft and warm when they made contact with mine. Ignoring the butterflies in my stomach, I pulled away almost immediately, only allowing our lips to touch for a few seconds. I ignored his confused expression as I flopped onto my back beside of him. "We should get some sleep..."
