Chapter 4

Things were better ( at least it seems to) and luckily their father didnt found anything abnormal. But on the dinner table, Jai wasnt meeting anybodies gaze, all were eating in silence.
"What is wrong with the bachha party today?" He asked finally.
They all looked at each other, then their mother replied, "Nothing, there usual fights."
"You all are mature now and you still fight? that not right.And Mira will soon be marrie off, so give her good memories so that she remembers us, miss us, resolve your fights quickly and say sorry to each other" He said looking at all of them one by one. Jai looked at Mira and held his ears, "I am sorry Mira di, i did not meant to hurt you." Mira looked at him for a while then smiled, "Its ok" she replied. Tara looked at Mira and pressed her hands in an approval. Their mother took the breathe of relief, so much happened in a day but finally evrything solved.
After the dinner Mira's father called her in his room and handed her a good amount of money.
"what is this papa? What will i do with all this?" she asked in amazement.
"You have never asked me for anything, never went out to shop around, never wasted my money so here this is for you, its your wedding, spoil yourself, buy whatever you want to and if u need more, do ask me, i will be happy to pay." He said with a smile and patted her head.
She tried to give him the money back but he did not listen to her. She thanked him and went back to her room.
"Wooow di, u r getting so rich haa? Who gave you dis?" Tara said removing her earplugs on seeing a pack of money in Mira's hands.
"Shut up Tara, papa gave me this for shopping for my wedding" she said and looked a bit distressed.
"So you should be happy naa why are u sad?" She asked moving towards her.
"Its just that, i feel evryone has so many expections from me my marriage. What if someday Akshat finds out and doesnt marry me?"  Mira spoke her fears.
"Ohh, Di, i think you should try to tell him evrything , he seems a nice person, he will understand you.This way your fear too will end." Tara said thinking.
"No Tara, a man can have so many girlfriends in his past but he would always accpet a wife with a clear past. And what if he tell it to dad? No i dont wanna take any chances.Well let i be, lets sleep its already late, and you didnt got your results yet for the first year?" She asked getting on the bed.
Tara didnt answered her, she was busy thinking something. She had never been close to a guy so may be whatever her Di said was right but she had always dreamt that her partner would be her best friend, someone wid whom she could share her evrything and would not be afraid of him judging her. She got upset on hearin what Mira told her becuase she did not liked the idea of hiding something that important from someone you are going to spend your life wid. She could not sleep for long and was deeply thinking with her eyes wide open, were her dreams just dreams? will she never found sum1 she was looking for or evry guy thinks the way Jai thinks? All these kept occupying her mibd for long.

Days passed and the preparations of marriage were going on in a hustle-bustle. Tara and Mira along with their mother use to be busy shopping for clothes and jewelleries, Jai on the oter hand was helping dad with caterers, decorations etc. Relatives were informed, cards were chosen, banquet halls were booked and almost evrything was done. Akshat and his family semed to be quite understanding and supportive, they were not demanding for anything; both the families were coperating each other a lot. And between all this something else was happening too,

"I am waiting like mad to hold u in my arms." akshat said naughtily over phone during one of their late nigt calls.
"Still a month to go" Mira said trying to sound normal.
"A month???? 30 days...??Shit, when will this pass Mira, i cannot wait more, i am soo in love with you." He said witha heavy breathe.
Hearing it, she closed her eyes out of shy but suddenly Raahil's face appeared in front of her and she opened her eyes in a reflex, sweat appeared on her forehead, she was "Trying" to fall in love with Akshat, and being a girl, her emotions were melting seeing Akshat's love, hearing his sweet words, but whwnever she tried to reply Akshat with those three magical words, somehow, Raahil will cross her mind and she would just stop and felt scared, felt guilty and very selfish of her.
"Babu..? I said i love you, reply atleast. You never say you love me too, dont you love me? Arent you hapy with me?" Akshat asked.
Hearing him gtting said, she felt bad, she did not wanted to hurt him, "Of course i am happy, i will say it when i will be with you in your arms." She managed to say.
"Ohh, how will this month pass? Love you." He  continued.
He become happy hearing she too was feeling the same,She got upset thinking how much time it will take her to get Rahil out of her head and feel the same like Akshat was feeling.
