Also: As some of my awesome readers/commenters have pointed out, my spelling of "magic" as "magick" may cause some confusion (thank you, @ChristianComalover1 and @vivienne! :) I'm really happy that you both helped me make this announcement so everyone could understand. :D). Magick is spelled the way it is for a few reasons: a) It is how it's spelled in my other story, The Marked Twin, which is also set in Thrae (the earth this takes place on) and b) I wanted to do something a little different that wasn't totally common. 

Summary:

The day Vasilisa Hedge was murdered for witchcraft, she left behind three things: a bloodthirsty village, a magickal daughter, and a soul-stealing doll.

Now Karina, Vasilisa's daughter, is grown up and accused of witchcraft herself. Banished from her village to the Forest of the Dead along with Hans Pinkerton, the imperious son of a warlock, they embark on an epic Hansel and Gretel story to their freedom. Along their way they discover the dangerous Fountains of Youth and Animalia, the darkness of night and the terror it brings, Baba Yaga, who attempts to enslave them, and the magick that threatens to destroy their very souls.
