Dippers Tragedy

Hard choices

Mabel was sat beside dippers bed, she was leaning her head against the arm rest on the side of the bed, her eyes were red from all the tears, Stan and Stanford had been called out by the doctors to talk. Mabel looked up to dippers body, he was pale with dried up blood around his head, bandages coving most of his face and right leg, doctors feared he was in a coma, but the were not sure, mabel began talking to dipper, "dipper, I'm so sorry for all the times i left you out and all the times i made fun of you, I'm gonna miss you so much, I'm sure mom, dad, grunkle Stan and grunkle ford will miss you too" mabel reached for dippers hand and gently grabbed it, suddenly the door opened and Stan and ford came through with the doctor just behind, mabel let go of dippers hand and turned to the three, "hey grunkle Stan and grunkle For!" Mabel said trying to sound happy, Stan and ford looked at each other, then ford stepped over to mabel and placed his right hand on her shoulder, "mabel, the doctors said its time we should be going back to the shack" mabel looked at ford then to Stan who was frowning, "Bu... but i want to stay with him!" Mabel said with an edge of annoyance in her voice, ford looked down, "so do i mabel, but they think its best if we let him rest" then the doctor stepped forward, "sweetie, we fear that your brother... May never recover... So... I think you should say your last goodbyes..."

Mabel's POV

As the doctor told me that dipper may never recover i felt a lump form in my throat and tears growing in my eyes, i wanted to run away and never come out of hiding, me and dipper were so close, he couldn't leave me to grow up on my own, i needed him to come back, he was the best brother ever! I said to ford, "I'm not going!" Ford looked like he had tears in his eyes, "mabel, we all want to stay, but please, just, come with us" i began shouting at ford, "i don't want to leave dipper till he is ok!!" The doctor then stepped over to me and said to me in a soothing voice, "if you want your brother to be ok... Let him rest, i promise i will contact you as soon as he... Hopefully gets better" he began to change my mind, "if he doesn't get better, i will call you and your parents to come say goodbye... Is that ok" tears were already streaming down my face and the lump in my throat made it hard to swallow, i decided to go... If it will help dipper, thats what ill do! "Ok... Ill go..." The doctor smiled and guided me ford and Grunkle Stan to the door where a nurse led us to the door, then before i knew it, we were leaving the hospital...

Dippers minds (Dippers POV)

"What are you doing here bill!!" I was shouting at bill as he had always tormented me, "woah there kiddo, i just wanna help you" i knew he was lying, he only ever tricks people, he never kept up his part of the deal, "help me! Thats hard to believe" "no jokes kid, your sister seems pretty sad, don't you wan-" i cut him off "MABEL, SHES UPSET!?" "Yes, don't you want to make her happy again" Bill then made me think, i was here, and if i made the deal i could make her happy again, but what if bill was lying about 'giving my body life' suddenly the weird white light began to get brighter, i tried to shield my eyes as best as i could, "arrggghhh whats that light", "that is the light of death pine tree" when bill said the light of death i began to think, but, death isn't good, why does it have a light?, Suddenly, bill responded, "it tells you that your dying" suddenly, i got a cold shiver down my spine, i now knew that my time was coming to an end, so, i made a choice that may change my life.
I reached one arm out to bill and shouted to him, "you promise to give me life back, so i can see mabel again" bill was shocked but one of his hands went up in a blue flame and reached that hand out to me, "yes, i do" our hands met and we shook, sealing the deal, suddenly, i felt weird, the light began to fade and bill disappeared, i began to hear things. I was coming back to life!
