Dippers Tragedy

On the edge

Ford was scavenging around the forest looking for some wood to burn at night, he already had three pieces of wood, one was small, one was large, and the last one was middle sized and very thick. Ford found another piece of wood, as ford picked up the piece of wood he caught a glimpse of a foot print underneath the log, the print was nothing like he had seen before, it was long and it had three toes, the middle one being larger than the other two which were next to the same size, seeing this, ford decided to check around the area for the other print and sure enough, he did. Ford was shocked about this discovery so he decided that he would go back to the cave with the wood and get dipper to help with the analysing of the print, so ford put the wood under his right arm and began jogging back to the cave.
Dipper was trying to push himself away from the creature, but the creature suddenly grabbed dipper by the neck with its tentacle like hands, the creature began squeezing  dippers neck, dipper tried to get a better look at the creature but his vision was becoming blurry, dipper was about to pass out but he then created a fist and punched the creatures wrist which made the creature drop dipper. Dipper was falling fast, then, he hit the ground with a massive thud, dipper then felt a pain that was far worse than what he had ever felt, his right leg been cut badly by a sharp stone. The cut was right along the side of his leg, dipper tried to move it, but he couldn't, the creature then picked dipper up again, but this time did not hold him, the creature threw dipper to the ground at full pelt, dipper smashed to the ground, when he hit the ground he fell unconscious, he had also cracked his head open in two places, the creature then let out a giant roar and retreated back into the cave, leaving dipper with tons of blood pouring down his face.
Ford was slowly jogging back to the cave, the sky was beginning to fade to a black, the stars were beginning to twinkle in the peaceful night sky, ford began to increase his jogging speed so that he could get back to dipper before he got cold, ford then thought to himself, 'i wonder how dipper is now...' So he decided to run back to the cave to make sure dipper was ok.
The blood was creating a puddle around dippers body, dipper was unconscious, he was hardly breathing. He was bleeding to death...
