Me And Sam Evans?

CHAPTER TWO

The next day we arrived in Lima. I was tired because it had been a long flight. I nearly died with happiness when i saw our new house. A gorgeous four bedroom, detached house with a MASSIVE back garden. I ran up the stairs to pick out my new bedroom. I chose the one that  had a window facing the house next to ours. I didn't know it then, but this was a very wise choice. I changed into some old clothes and started unpacking my things.

A hour later i heard my Mam call me. 'Lauren, there is someone here that wants to meet you'.

'Ok Mam!', i said, although i had no clue who it could be because we had only been residents of Lima for an hour.

So i came downstairs sweaty,in my ripped jeans, old t-shirt and my hair in a mess,to see a totally gorgeous boy, around my age, standing at my front door.

'Hi! I'm Sam, Sam Evans and i'm your new neighbour', he said.

'Er, hi Sam', i said, while trying to fix my hair,' I'm Lauren'. Although i had never met this boy in my life, he really reminded me of someone.

'Yeah, your Mom told me', he said in a really hot American accent.

'Oh yeah, you were probably talking to her', i said.What a stupid answer! He probably thought i was half stupid!

'Yeah! She also told me you were starting in McKinley tomorrow'.

'Yeah i am  !Do you go there too?' Inside i was praying that he did.

'Totally! I can show you around tomorrow if you want,' he said.

'Would you mind?,i asked,' Seeing as there was only a hundred students in my old school, i might get a bit lost'.

'No, not at all', said Sam, ' It would be my pleasure'. At this point i was practically melting.

'Well, i'd better be going', said Sam,'I promised my Mom i would babysit my brother and sister for a while'.

'Oh, ok,' i said,'See you tomorrow at school'.

'See you', said Sam and he turned and walked out the door.

'I had only been in Lima for an hour,but i was already after falling in love.
