Here i was looking out at the dreary rain. What most Irish people would call a normal summer. I dreamed of living in a place where the sun shone when you woke up in the morning and it was still shining when you went to bed at night.
Then one day my wish came true (almost). My Dad had gotton a job in a city called Lima in Ohio in America. America! I couldn't believe it! Here i was a normal Irish, country girl going to restart my life in America!
The day of the move came. Although i was upset to be leaving my family behind, i was really happy to be getting a fresh start. I had been bullied at my old school and i was looking forward to start at my new one. Apparently it was called McKinley High and Dad had said they had a glee club, and that was a dream come true for me because i loved singing.
So we got on the plane and i spent the entire trip dreaming about my new town, new house and new school. Who knows? There might even be some cute boys there.
I would find out tomorrow................
