Star Wars : Episode VII 1/2 The Love of The Dark

Chapter One: The Last Day

Hey guys, It's me again! I just want to let you know that I only own my characters, not the ones created by the writers of Star Wars. This book contains spoilers to the new Star Wars movie The Force Awakens. So watch the movie before you read ahead.  This is also somewhat out of my own imagination. conversations and people might not add up with the actual movies.Thanks enjoy.

"Aria, Luke needs you and Ben in the sparring room immediately." Jara, my beloved nanny says to me. I groan looking at the block tower I had built using the force. She gives me the "not so happy" look as I shuffle my way out of the door. Jara was my mother of sort. She fed me and changed my diapers when I was a baby. That woman played with me when no one else did. I loved her as much as any other child would love her mother. But, sometimes she was annoying. This is one of these times.

"Fine." I say walking down some stairs to a small elevator. I step in and enter the codes to go to the special room. I was only 8 what exactly did Luke expect of me? I couldn't be perfect like Ben. With his spectacular abilities. I push the thoughts away entering the large room with positive thinking. Ben was waiting for me in the sparring circle. I run to him.

"Hey Benny." I say poking his forehead.

"Hey." He said clenching his fists. I look at his hands confused. I tilt my head my black curly hair falling over my violet eyes.

"What's wrong?" I ask concerned.

"Nothing."

"Benny! Tell me!" I groan. I look at him and give him the biggest puppy eyes possible. He smirks at me caving. Ha, these eyes never fail me.

"Okay. Uncle Luke told my Mom and Dad I was like Vader. They want to send me away from here forever, Aria!" He says again clenching his fists. "They don't know what to do with me." I notice him getting red. I wrap my arms around him giving him a hug. His tense body calms under my touch.

"Well, I'm stuck here forever. Until I am at least old enough to drive a space craft. At least you get to escape. And, anyway I doubt Luke will really do that to you." I say looking into his brown eyes. He frowns. But, I give him a smile. Come on, let's practice." I say stepping back and taking out my training Light Saber. It was very faulty. But, at least Luke was kind enough to let me have one. "There is no way you can win." I smirk.

"Oh yeah?" He says charging at me. Ben's curly hair bounced as he ran. We battle left and right. Not one of us actually taking the upper hand. And, we did it on purpose. This was just play fighting. Even though to the naked eye it looked like we were killing each other. Our technique was very sloppy after awhile due to us laughing. Everything was going great until Professor Luke walked in the room.

"Aria! Get away from him!" Luke screamed. Breaking us apart and pushing Luke away with the force.

"Benny!" I yelled whenever he fell on his back.

"Do not touch him." Luke says to me in a strong voice.

"Why?" I ask.

"We are sending him away. He might turn you into one too." He says looking at Ben fire in his eyes.

"Now!?"

"I see too much of my father in him. Vader will not come back. Jara lock Ben in his room until further notice.  Ben starts to turn red and charges at Luke. But, when Luke lifts his hand a force field surrounds us. Ben floats in mid air then closes his eyes, fainting. Luke grabs the boy's cloak and lifts him into the nannies arms.

"Luke, let him go!" I cry. Jara carries the still boy to his bedroom.  Tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Luke, I am confused. Why are you doing this?" I ask.

"Aria, I see darkness in Ben." He kneels down to me. "Too much darkness. I see Vader."

"He's different, Luke!"

"No he's not." Luke says walking away. "We need to keep the peace I have achieved."

That night I heard a scream like no other I have ever encountered, a scream of pain. I jump out of bed and run down the hall. Into Jara's room. My nanny laid on the ground burns across her neck and a hole through her heart.  I scream running to her. She smiles warmly. Although her death was moments away. Anger swelled in my heart.

"I love you." She uttered. Barely in hearing range before she fell limp. I get up mentally cursing Ben for what he has done. I run to Professor Luke's room with fire in my heart. This would be the first time I see the inside. I gawk at the seemingly endless bookshelf and weird boxes. I tear myself away remembering what I came here for. The adrenaline was pumping through my small veins as I shake my master awake.

"Aria?" He wakes confused.

"Benny is coming for you we must go! We must go!" Luke stands up quickly, grabs his Light Saber in it's old wooden crate, and leaves the room. The hallway was very quiet. We walk slowly at first. But suddenly Luke starts picking up speed. He drags me along with a worried look on his face. He can sense what has been done. We exit the huge base and walk into the barren waste land. This was the first time I had been outside.

Sand was everywhere, a couple of weird brown plants sprouted up from the ground dried up from the intense orange red sun that warmed my face. I kicked up the sand as I walked along. Luke looked at me annoyed, so I discontinued my curiosity. We suddenly stopped walking, Luke turned around to face our home. That base was my world...my eyes were suddenly opened to the world around me.

"Now we wait." He says looking at the building and letting go of my hand.

"But, what about everyone else in there?" I say with worry.

"I can't risk your life." Luke says taking my hand once again.

"But, what about Jara?" I ask.

"She is dead Aria!" He says rubbing my back. Tears again fell from my eyes. "I know how close you guys were. I'm so sorry."

"Benny was my best friend! Why would he do this to me?" I say sobbing. This was a traumatic moment for young Aria.

"I don't know." Suddenly Ben came over the hill we had just descended. He did not look the least bit amazed by the sand or plants, not like me. Light Saber in hand, Ben looked down at something shiny in his palm. Most of the base exploded. I screamed being thrown about 10 yards from my previous standing point. Luke was thrown the other direction. My ears were ringing and my vision was very blurry. Ben stood and walked to the unconscious Luke.

"Benny! Don't do this!" I say as his light saber was activated. He looked at me with sad eyes. "I'm sorry Ari, I have to." He says calling me by my nickname. I get up and run to my master. Beating Ben to the stab by pushing Luke. I felt a burning sensation on my arm. I hiss. He had hit me.

"Ari! I'm so sorry!" He says falling to his knees to meet me in the ground. The push had woke Luke for he dragged me away for my friend. The burn was all I could think about despite the fight going on in front of me.

I knew Luke couldn't kill Ben.  He didn't hit him. He just dodged his stabs. He loved him too much. I swallowed the pain and stood up.

"Stop this!" I scream. Ben stops and looks at me. Luke continues to stare at Ben. I take out my Saber.

"Aria. What are you doing?" Luke asks.

" What's right." I replied.

That is the end of chapter one! This might not be the best story, I have yet to finish my research. If you would like to give me some tips on the more scientific points of Star Wars. PLEASE don't hesitate to tell me.
