Dan looked at his phone, checking the time; it was 12:49. Nearly ten minutes since he arrived. And Phil was nowhere to be seen.
Dan was getting quite worried that maybe Phil had second thoughts and backed out without telling Dan.
What if Phil stood him up? He took another look at his phone; 12:50. He was about to text Phil when suddenly two pair of hands covered his eyes.
