I would like to say that I did not know that there was a real Hunter Hayes. So the Hunter Hayes in this book is not supposed to be the Hunter Hayes in real life.

The snow breaks my fall, as I hear my door being kicked open. "Ouch!" I said as my wrist landed the wrong way.
I see my mother looking out on me with a small grin on her face. Then she runs back into the house. In a minute I can hear the front door opening. I had to get out of there now. I turned around and saw a fence short enough for me to climb. When going over the wooden fence that was covered in snow I might have gotten a splinter or two but it was so worth it.
I had to get away from my mother, and the house that I couldn't live in anymore.
I kept running when I heard the car engine for hers go off. I hoped over this one fence, and I bumped into the next.
Damn! It was too tall for me to jump over. I tried climbing it but I ended up falling right back into the snow. I went to the window of the house, and looked inside. I had to rub it with my shirt though because it was all foggy on it.
When I did I saw someone watching tv. It was a boy. He looked familiar. Once I could get a good enough look to see who it was I was shocked.
Hunter Hayes?!
I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I was seeing correctly.
I could make out what he was saying though.
"She" is what I saw him mouth.
Then I accidentally knocked a little and his eyes shot over to the frosty window.
"Is outside my window!!??!!??!!" He yelled. I turned and ran trying to get onto the sidewalk. I had to go around the house to get there. But I see bright white lights coming from the left. My mother was almost here. I really didn't have a choice. I ran and knocked on Hunter's front door.
I didn't have to say a word, and an arm came out and pulled me into the house.
I opened my eyes to find myself in a cozy living room. I was in the middle of my thoughts when I was interrupted.
"S-so, may I asked w-why you have decided to come and knock on my window, at 10:30?"
Should I tell him? I mean he is the schools bad-ass, and the town player. I was afraid but I told him everything. Every little detail.
When I had finished talking his moth was wide open, and his eyes wider than they were before when he first saw me in person. Because according to him he has seen me several times in the yearbook.
"I'm sorry, my mom just left, a couple of years ago, for no reason. So where are you going to go tonight then. I mean you can't go back to your house. You could get killed!"
"Could get killed? Pfft. I would get killed. She would just hide my body in a swamp so it would get ripped to shreds by alligators. She hates me, I hate her, the relationship is good, but not with physical contact. I don't even remember when I last got s hug from her, and yeah I do need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. Do you know a place?"
"Umm, my friend Christopher is staying here until my dad comes back from Dominican Republic, and you could stay here if you want. You could sleep in the second guest room; I also have some spare girl’s clothes from my older sister that went with my mom. They might fit you, and if they don't you could sleep in one of my t-shirts, and I bet I could find a pair of sweatpants that don't fit me anymore. We could just go buy you some new clothes tomorrow."
