I kept runnning, and I couldn't hear Daniel's voice calling my name anymore.
It was really hard to see in the storm because all of this snow was falling everywhere. I also tripped a lot. Then I could see the light of Hunter's house, and I was so happy, for some odd reason.
I raced to Hunter's front porch cold from the storm. I knocked on the white door until I saw him in the window.
Once he unlocked the door I had walked in. It was nice and warm like the first time I came into the house.
"You were out for a while, where were you anyway." Hunter said.
"I said that I was out with a friend. But she had to go, and I got lost a little in the storm." I said.
I wanted to ask him if he wanted to go to May's party. I know Hunter likes them anyway, and it would make May happy if I brought over the hottest guy in our school.
"Hey Hunter, your not doing anything tomorrow right." I asked him.
"Um, no. Whats going on with you? Are feeling okay?" He asked touching my forehead to see if I had a fever or something.
"No, it's just, my friend is having a party, and she wants you to be there because your like the hottest guy ever.... in her opinion! Not mine."
He grinned, and winked at me.
"Well, if you insist I will come to this so called party, and Chris will come too."
"Fine by me." Personally I didn't care if Chris came or not because May has always thought he was hot too.
"Great! She'll be happy! So what have you all been doing while I was gone?" I asked.
"Um, Nothing," Hunter said.
He responded really fast. He responded really, really fast.
"Um, I think the real question is.... Are you feeling Okay?" I said.
"Why, what would be wrong anyway. I said that nothing was going on when you were gone. Really nothing was. I just left and came back from wa...." Hunter said before slapping a hand to his mouth.
"What's going on?!" I said.
Just then Chris had to walk into the room.
"Oh, hey Amy, have fun with May?" Chris said.
"DUDE! SHUT UP!" Hunter yelled before hoping on top of him. They started to have a little cat fight, but I didn't really care.
I was going to find out what was happening.
"Hunter! Chris! What is going on, and how does Chris know that I was out with May at the park, you didn't even know that I was going there!" I yelled.
God, I was pissed. I went and walked right passed them after they got up from the little hissy fight.
I walked into the room that I was using, and locked the door. I layed down on my stomach on the bed. I fiddled with my fingers a little bit before looking at my phone.
I had one new message from an unknown number.
Unidentified Texter: I'm sorry.
Amy: For What, and who are you?!
Unidentified Texter: It's me Chris, and I am sorry I didn't tell you the truth, but I'm gonna tell you now. I just want you to know that this was no my idea at all. It was all Hunter.
Amy: Speak to me.
Chris: Only if you open the door.
I looked at the door. I just watched it for a few seconds, and got up. I slowly walked to the door, and put my hand on the cold knob. I twisted it and let the door open on its own.
"Yes." I said. He walked in and I went and sat on the bed. I patted the seat next to me telling him to come and sit. He sat down and looked at me.
"Okay, I am only telling you this because I suck at keeping secrets. Now don't tell Hunter, because I will be in some deep Scheiße. So here it is. Hunter went and followed you to the park. He wanted to make sure that you were safe, and so I had to tag along. I don't want you to see me as a bad person. So now that you know the truth, don't mention it to anyone. I"ll see you later." Chris explained before walking out of my room.
I sat there in shock. Why would he follow me to make sure I was safe? I don't know him, he is Hunter Hayes, I'm Amy Fray, this friendship will just be temporary, and right after school is over, I am getting out of here and moving to Florida, away from the is cold New York wheather.
I wasn't going to listen to Chris in the "Don't tell Hunter" part. I pulled out my phone, and went to Chris. I asked him a question.
Amy: What is Hunter's number?
Chris: I'll come and give it to you.
Amy: OK then, hurry!
in less than five secind Chris was in my room, typing in Hunter's number into my phone.
"There you are, now I must pee." Chris said.
Eww.
"Um, and why did I have to hear that?" I asked.
"Becuase it is fun to annoy you." Chris said right before walking out the door.
I laughed and layed down.
I liked Chris, he was funny, and a good friend.
"YAWN" damn, i was tired.
I couldn't even keep my eyes open for ten more seconds.
I collapsed on the bed, and went right to sleep.
I had a dream though.
Hunter was at Coco's cafe, and he was on the little stage that they had there.
He had a black guitar in his hands, and he was sitting on a little stool.
Then I walked in.
"Amy, I'm sorry. Please don't go."
And then he started to play.
Then before the dream could get any weirder. I woke up and almost screamed.
I got up, and ran to the bathroom, where I puked away the memory.
