Shikatema moments

Never too late

At the dead hour of the night, when the world is hushed in sleep and all is still; when there is not a sound to be heard save the dead beat escapement of the clock .She was awake .

Her heart pounded too loud and breathing was harsh .
something's wrong....
confusion flashed through her ,she threw a glance to the window and saw nothing but her own reflection.Temari stood up and walked to the kitchen wondering what's keeping her up in the dead night .

"Tem." she leaned back and gazed at the young kage who was rubbing his back and yawning.
"Gaara ?Why you still awake?"
He sat on a chair and shrugged his shoulders.
"I should ask the same question ."
"I...i don't know either."
"Shikamaru Nara ?"
"what?"
"He didn't come back yet and you're worried,right?"
"...I...yes."
she handed her brother a glass of water faking a smile.
"It's been 5 month?"
"Yeah."
"I'll send you to konoha tomorrow."
Her body moved by itself and she threw her arms around him tightly .The red head hugged back .

Arriving....

She blinked bright teal eyes behind mile long lashes .Pain swirled in her heart as she approached the tall gates of Konoha .Same village,same nature,same people...but not the same loving man she used to see and go with.
Her breath slowed with every step she took unsure of what wait her .
A smiley blonde waved friendly at her .

"Temari chan !"
"Ohayo Ino ."
"We missed you here."
"Yeah,me too i guess."
"Shall we go."
"Yeah."

In the hokage office :

"I am sorry Temari .Shikamaru and his team didn't come back yet including Naruto and Chouji ."
"Oh then karui ..."
"Is also here in the village ?Yes."
"Thank you kakashi sama ."
"you're free to go now ."

Temari unpacked her stuff then she prepared a nice cup of jasmine tea ,hers and Shikamaru's favourite,then sat down finishing her paper job.When suddenly someone knocked on the door .She opened it.

"Chouji ?!"
"...Hey Temari ."
"wait you're here than...oh where are you pineapple head,am so kicking your ass ! "
she looked behind the big guy but found nothing.
"Temari ."
"Yeah?"
"I am sorry." her breath were trapped in her chest .
"You mean?..."
"He couldn't make it.enemies were attacking us and he trapped them in his shadows an avalanche." With that he started to cry.
Someone gotta be strong....
She punched one of his shoulder playfully and faked a smile.
"He was a great ninja and did a great sacrifice Chouji.Shikamaru hate to see us crying .am i right?"
"Yes." he whipped his tears and cleared his throat .
"I am going now .Kakashi sama asked to see you later on."
she nodded slightly tears threatening to fall .

Temari cried hard as she sat in silence. Memories kept coming back to her. His voice, his laziness, everything she loved. It was gone, her heart felt like it was torn apart, burned to ash, gone."Is he really, gone...." Her mind still refused to accept that the person she had loved had died."No...." She whispered.
" PLEASE NO, COME BACK, THIS IS A DREAM!YOU PROMISED !" She screamed looking up. She sighed then looked down at her hands as she thought about him. She seemed so lost and broken.

She cried herself to sleep .Her pillows wet with salted tears... if only he was here.

"Temari ...Temmy...Tema...mary chan ..."a person's hot breath tickled her skin.
"It's a dream."
"Why you're such a heavy sleeper!wake up Tem ." this person started to kiss and nibble on her neck ,her eyelids pushed open only to meet a pair of brown hues .
"No that can't be real." she said and rubbed her eyes . He bit her shoulder ,Temari winced .
"oh really now?"
"Shika..."
"Hey..."
"You're alive." a tear escaped her eyes and he wiped it.
"Shh don't cry ."
"But how did you?"
"I'll tell you later."
"Shikamaru ."
"Yes ?"
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU !!!" she flipped him and started to strangle him .
"TROUBLESOME WOMAN!!! you're killing me!"
"That's for making me worry!"
"Instead of kissing me you're trying to kill me!how mature!"
"Shut up !Now why would i kiss someone who i thought he was dead and made me cry and..."

Before she could continue he grabbed her wrist tightly and pinned her down to the bed then started to kiss her roughly , she responded with the same ,his tongue licked her soft rosy flesh before entering her mouth and battling with hers. His hand moved down and held her hips as he pressed her body against his, she wrapped her arms slowly around his neck and he whispered through her parted lips.
"You're so punished Temari no sabaku ."
