After the discussion, Yoko and Gojyo stood by the entrance of the temple as Yoko's parents talked to the head monk. Gojyo lean against a tree as Yoko stood there quietly. There was no conversation between them. Only silence and stolen glances between them.

"I-I apologize for dragging you into all this mess then back down." Yoko bowed towards Gojyo.

Gojyo eyed her. She is so complicated. Since the beginning of their encounter, it was hard to predict which is the real her. "So you have finally realized that you are selfish." He asked quietly as he puff out smoke from his mouth while looking up at the sky.

"The circumstances doesn't allow me to fulfill such promise. Right now there are other things for me to focus on." She replied as she grip on her injured arm. With the expectation of the union between Nami and Maria, it will not be easy for her to fight and protect her friends when the other Yoko appeared.

"Because fighting for pride is more important?" He said acidly.

"I fight to protect!" Yoko look up glaring at him. "You know nothing!" She turns away and walk off only to be pulled by Gojyo. "Let go." She gritted her teeth in anger.

"Protect what? Your parents? Your family's name? Or your pride as a female fighter?" Gojyo released her arm as he saw her wince at the pain from his grip.

She rub her arm and stood properly facing him. "It is not your concern. As soon as the soul transfer is done, you will not be associate with me any longer."

"Keep that attitude and you won't even be able to handle the process." He shot at her angrily. He was fuming mad. Women were always pleasurable to be with but not her. He is always annoyed or uptight when she is around. His charm doesn't work on her at all. It pissed him off.

"As long as i don't get injured badly and she is mentally strong enough, then it wouldn't be a problem, would it? This conversation is over." Yoko went off without letting him  say anything.

On the way back home, Yoko was silent throughout the journey as Dan and Ayame discuss about their next plan for Yoko.

"Yoko dear... are you alright?" Ayame asked worriedly. It was rare to see Yoko being so quiet but she understand that it is hard for yoko to accept all this. Afterall, she is the youngest in the family.

"Hmm? Me? I am just tired. I guess i overdid it today by hurting my arm." She grins sheepishly.

"Are you sure? How did you exactly broke your arm? Did you get into a fight again?" Ayame turn towards yoko as she inspect her from top to bottom.

"Eh... I fell down the stairs while rushing to class." She rubs the back of her head while laughing awkwardly. "I thought I could stop myself from hitting the floor hard but i guess my hand isnt good enough since i slip and land in my elbow. Hahahaha.."

Ayame sigh and shook her head. "Be careful next time."

Dan eyed Yoko silently knowing that Yoko is lying. When Yoko notice his gaze from the car's back mirror, she bowed apologetically and motion a finger to her lips hoping that Dan will not say anything.

"Yoko." He called out as she sat up straight.

"Yes touchan?" Yoko gaze down on her lap waiting to get a lecture from him. "Have a rest. It will take some time to reach your grandma's villa."

"Eh??? Ah.. I mean yes sir." She grins and closes her eyes pretending to rest as Ayame smiled at Dan knowingly.

"It's a fight right?" Ayame asked quietly as Dan sigh and nods.

"Ask Dia for a report." He spoke softly as they continued their journey.

Gojyo drove back home quietly. The only sound that can be heard was the engine of his car and the breeze as he speed off into the highway.
