The bell rang and Tini quickly grabbed her bag that was next to her and made her way out of the room quickly.
"Heyyyy Tini Matsumiri!" a mocking voice sounded through the crowd. Tini hid her head and walked off having the feeling of someone following her. She took out her map of the campus and made sure it was right side up. She ignored the feeling and started walking to her next class as she tried to put on her bestest smile she could manage.
Later it was lunch and she went outside and sat on a bench. She pulled out her bag and ate a humble sandwich as she turned the pages of her book being careful and sure enough to not get any food on its pages. Tiny looked up and pushed her glasses further up the bridge of her nose and looked around, then back down at her book.
"Do you think she can here us?" Tini heard a voice ask. She smiled to herself and stood up, threw her lunch bag away, then sat back down on the same bench to continue reading the book. She turned the next page and kept reading still with a kind smile.
"Yes, I can hear you," Tini spoke up kindly in a louder volume. and I would appreciate it if you please didn't make fun of me." Tini pleaded as she turned the next page. The voice stepped out from behind a big green bush with another person that looked to be his twin.
"We're not here to make fun of you." They replied in unison.
"Oh. I apologize then. I should have rechecked your motives. Everyone else that has talked with me today, talked only to make fun of me. Except for one guy. He was nice. But that was about it." Tini explained. It had taken a while for her to get rid of her shyness and such, but was able to after the fifth or sixth bully. The two boys sat down next to Tini while she continued to read her book.
"Why were they making fun of you? " The same boy asked. Tini shrugged.
"mm...Because ... I guess ... my name. I suppose, anyhow." Tini answered with a shrug.
"Why?" The second boy asked.
"It's a little silly ain't it?" Tiny spoke with slight sarcasm. Tini chuckled to herself softly as she spoke kindly and kept reading. "Another reason I suppose, could be that to some my social status and situation may seem disgraceful and distasteful to others." Tini continued and flipped another page as silence fell. The two boys looked at each other with curiously intrigued faces. "I honestly don't mind a little teasing here and there, I grew up with it after all - but, it's when to stop that's the tricky part." Tini paused. "Oh. I apologize for not talking to you both directly. I'm hitting the climax in the story."
"No, it's okay." The other boy said. Tini looked up and smiled.
"Oh, thanks." She said as she shook each of their hands. "Hikarou and Karou, correct?" Tini asked. They wore surprised expressions.
"How do you know our names?" They asked in unison.
"I heard them in halls while you were teasing Haruhi." Tini laughed. "I also recognize them from the school Ident-er-anywho."
"Do you know everybody's names?" They asked in unison. Tini shrugged.
"M-Mostly." Tini replied.
"How did you know it was us though?" They asked in unison again.
"It's really quite easy. You speak in unison and finish each other's sentences. I think it's quite cool actually, and slightly impressive." Tini added. She opened her back pack that sat at her feet and glanced at a watch and slid her book in. "And you broke my cousins feelings when you were younger, too." Tini paused with a sweet smile. "She's better now. Oh criminey." She muttered. "I'd better head off to class. I'm sort of a stickler for perfect attendances. Nice meeting you." Tini said then stood up to leave. She turned and waved goodbye and they waved back. Tini smiled and breathe in the fresh air then started walking further across the campus yard and into another building.
