I walked into the gymnasium on the first day of my senior year. I breathed in the scent of the hallways which smelled like lemons and anxiety. I looked around and examined the different grades in their sections. "Juniors, fresh-meat, sophomores," I squinted until a familiar face came into my view. I smiled to myself as I began walking over to the senior section, they changed the positions every year.

I tapped my best-friend Ashton on the shoulder, interrupting her conversation with some lower grade girl. "Aye you see I'm havin' a- Oh snap, my homie Jay!" She smiled and we did our signature, overly long handshake. The girl walked off with an attitude but Ashton just shrugged it off and kept talking. "So," She said as we took a short walk to the middle of the bleachers. "What's good? How was the camp or whatever?" I winced at the thought of the "Juvenile Youth Transformation Camp" it literally was hell. "Well, it wasn't fun or anything if that's what you wanna know." I laughed dryly and swallowed.

Ashton nodded her head and we turned towards the gym floor watching as the rest of the students and teachers (old & new) walked through to do introduction. Principal Evans, a woman in her early fifties, in her pencil skirt, floral blouse, with a neat tight bun. She wasn't bad looking, I mean if you liked older women. Me personally I don't go over 25. "Welcome new faculty and freshman class to Margo Heights High School. We here are proud to be able to open the minds of young students and help shine the flashlight to the right path." Principal E continued talking as my eyes continued wandering. I looked at the line of teachers leading outside of the door. I spotted a woman, she seemed to be in her early twenties at the most. I nudged Ashton slightly, not taking my gaze off of her. "Yo?" Ashton said turning towards me slightly. "Bruh," I paused and licked my lips. "Who is that?" I pointed with my eyes and not my finger. Being polite is the best thing to do, unless provoked. "Oh that's a new teacher. I forgot her name but she's as bad as ever." I nodded my head slowly turning away from the brown skinned beauty afar. "A new teacher," I smirked. "Interesting, very interesting."
