*3rd Person POV*
"Percy are you sure that its safe to use these?" Annabeth asked unsure if her boyfriends plan was in any way safe.
"Of course Wisegirl. I mean dad wouldn't have left them there if we couldn't use them right," Percy said unsurely just adding to Annabeth's worry about his crazy plan.
"Ok now Lou-Ellen!" Percy shouted to the daughter of Hecate who had been quietly observing the peculiar behaviour of the son of Poseidon with peeked interests.
At Percy's signal, Lou-Ellen began to chant the recquired spell with the help of her nearby siblings. Mist began to rise from the earth, surrounding the pearls and sea-creatures that Percy had 'borrowed' from his fathers palace in Atlantis.
The hippocampi began to swim around in surprise as they began to shrink slowly before being gently pulled out of the water and towards the gigantic orb of water that Percy had created for the occasion.
As the last hippocampi was pulled into the levitating orb of water, Percy began to shape the orb intontendrils that he began to wrap around the Christmas tree that had been placed at the centre of the beach.
Percy focused his powers to keep the water tendrils levitating and spiralling towards the top of the huge tree in a breathtaking fashion as the children of Hecate enchanted the water to stay in that same posiyion for the duration of the night.
As a last touch to the tree the children of Hecate levitated the enchanted pearls onto the tree, as well as a enchanted starfish that had been placed towards the top of the tree.
Once they were finished the exhausted demigods stepped back to admire their work and to say that they were proud would've been an epic understatement. The ocean themed tree glistened in the moonlight. A halo of golden feathers floated above the star atop the tree, just adding to the beauty of it all.
"Well Percy you were right," Annabeth said as she gave her boyfriend a swift kiss on the cheek.
Percy smiled at her before pulling her off to gather the rest of the campers.
The remaining six of the seven had planned a massive Christmas party for both camps with the help of many of their friends. This was the first Christmas that the demigods of both camps would've spent together and they were truly excited to make it the best any of them had ever had.
About a half an hour later the enitirity of both camps had gathered by the sound and they were having the time of their lives.
All the campers were exchanging gifts with their friends and eating to their hearts content with the people they had come to know over a period of time.
Although this wasn't what the Romans were usually accustomed to but they were letting themselves enjoy the festive season along side their Greek siblings.
The six of the seven and a few assorted friends milled around towards the front of the massive gathering, just talking and reminiscing the events that had brought them together.
The war with Gaia and the Giantes only a few months prior. The ultimate resuloution of the grudge held between the opposing groups and all the good stuff in between (according to Percy atleast).
But it was obvious that the demigod heroes weren't as festive as they would usually be due to the melancholic feeling floating around them.
In all honesty they were truly excited to have had this gathering for everyone but it had only served to remind them of the loss of all their friends and family in the war against the crazed earth goddess.
Every loss had cut the heroes of the war deeply but their was one that had served to bring a sort of strain unto them all as it was a loss that was connected to the face of a very close friend.
**********
It was almost 11 o'clock when the party began to turn into an all out Christmas festival.
'All I want for Christmas' blared over the camp speakers as the children of Apollo(both Greek and Roman) led both camps in an all out sing along.
All thw demigods and legacies sang at the top of their lungs (most likely scaring away all the monsters in the surrounding forest) until the sound of sleigh bells brought their attention to the sky.
A chariot of silver pulled by golden horned deer flew towards the camp with about a half dozen smaller deer carrying the majority of the Hunters of Artemis in a red sleigh. In the front seat a head of familiar Auburn hair grasped the attention of most of the senior demigods who reluctantly made their way towards the centre of the camp to see what the goddess of the hunt had in store for them.
Upon her landing when she saw the sea of demigods that met her, the goddess Artemis simply smiled and pointed towards the sky.
The confused demigods turned their attention towards the sky once again where they were met with a pleasant surprise.
A golden chariot (that for once wasn't glowing like the worlds biggest lightbulb) flew across the sky being pulled by a very familiar dragon.
Shouts of shock and joy sounded across the sea of demigods as Festus landed with a mighty thud.
From the dragons back a grinning Apollo threw a gigantic red sack with landed with surprising grace.
From the sack popped out a grinning Hispanic Elf and an extremely confused Titaness.
"See Sunshine, I told you they'd love us!"
"Whatever you say darling," Calypso sighed although she couldn't help but laugh at her boyfriend's extreme display of excitement.
Leo was especially happy to be back home but his friends had very creative ideas of showing their shared happiness.
"Come on guys! I'm back and I brought back a girl!" Leo screamed at the top of his lungs as his friends from the Argo II chased him around camp and cursing him in an assortment of languages.
