~Chapter Start~

__Flashback__

"Senpai!" "Isabell! Move now!" The shouts of my friend made me whip my head to the side. They were trying to race to us. Someone's arms were wrapped around my middle and I quickly responded by pulling my arms around the smaller boy's shoulders.

The sound of the worried shouts made me smile a bitter one. Good to know they cared, but the shadow of the giant wave had crashed down before I could think of what to do. Honey's arms had loosened and his screams mashed together with mine was the last thing I had saw before darkness welcomed me with opening arms.

Darkness. That was the past. The present. The future.

The entire world was gone, all that surrounded me was the homely essence of night. The only thing that was contrast to the darkness was the sound and movement. An impossible shaking was creating the world to falter.

"-chan?" Someone was calling me. I couldn't put my finger on it but the sound of the voice put me at ease. That at least reassured me it was someone I knew and trusted. "They" were constantly shaking, and the splash of water dripping down onto my cheeks.

"Bell-chan? Please! I can hear your heartbeat! Bell-chan, stop this right now!" The childlike demeanor made me smile, no one would end up talking like that to me except, Honey-senpai.

"Bell-chan, you can hear me? I knew it!" The shaking had stopped for a moment and because of that, I was grateful.

The numbness of my limbs were starting to fade, and shaking took over. I was freezing, the water and the openness of the air was enough for me to feel the cold air kicking in. I lifted my arm and raised it over my eyes.

Opening my eyes, the little bit of shade I had created help with adjusting my eyesight. "Honey?" My voice cracked at the end, I guess not being conscious killed my vocal chords. So much for singing anytime soon.

A childlike squeal of excitement ripped my thoughts into pieces and blew my headache skyhigh. The pounding of my head was basically killing me and the squeal had made it to the point where it was unbearable. Letting out a weak groan, I try and push the smaller figure off of me. The extra weight I could so do without.

"Bell-chan! I was so worried! Not only did the wave knock you out for a while, we've lost everyone! I didn't know if you were okay, and I didn't know what I would do if.. if..." Honey cut himself short as he flung his small frame onto mine. Wailing, he clung to my shoulders and his blonde hair tickled the bottom of my nose.

Oh great, not only are we separated from the rest of the group, I'm stuck dealing with a pipsqueak who would cry at the death of bug. Clearing my throat, I push on Honey's shoulders to disconnect himself from me. I look down at him and send the over-dramatic blonde a sleepy smile.

"I'm okay now Honey, just really thirsty and tired. No need to get so worked up, I'm not dyi-"

HONEY!" I squeal as said boy lunges himself onto me again.

"Isabel Logan! You can't say those kinds of things!" Honey wailed as his squeezing slowly started to feel more and more painful.

"Honey... Honey? HONEY!" As I continued to tug at the smaller boy, the blue hue in my face grew. My breathing had starting to become more erratic and Honey had failed to notice that I was slowly losing consciousness once again.
