At night, everybody was already asleep when I saw a light. I took a blanket, quickly, and came outside. It was Ethan! What was he doing? Where was he going? I decided to follow him. Carefully and quietly, I walk behind him with enough distance, hided in the trees. He stopped right in front of the lagoon and sat down. The lagoon was surrounded by fireflies. Wow! So beautiful!

- You shouldn't be sleeping? - he asked. Damn! He found out. I came to him and apologized. - You know that I'm taking care of you, so try not to get lost okay?!

- I'm sorry... I didn't mean to. I couldn't sleep anymore and I saw your light... - I sat down, right next to him, looking to the water too.

- I'm sorry. - he apologize. What? Why was he apologizing for? I wasn't understanding anything and he repeated himself. - I'm sorry for today. I didn't mean to be rude and arrogant... It's just...I made a big mistake coming here instead of my cousin...

- Can I ask who is she? It's true that...you...

- Yes. She's my ex. I just don't like to talk about it very much. It's a thing that I regret.

- Can I help?

- No. Only if you can change my pass... - he paused during five minutes. - I feel so embarrassing! I'm such an idiot!

- No, you're not!

- Yes, I am. I opened my heart for her when all she wanted was to have sex! She made a fool of me and I let her! One year...! I had one entire year to say no to her but...

Oh! Ethan was crying! So cute! Who could have said he has such a big heart! But, why I was feeling sad? In a few seconds, a got a lot of feelings inside of me. So strange to be happy and sad at the same time! I gave him a tight hug.

- Hey, don't cry... Better days will come. Besides, you don't need to be ashamed of that. It's all her fault! Who could have said that a pretty girl like her could make a mess like this!

Suddenly, he looked to me. Oh my God! His eyes...were like...a sky full of stars! So shiny! So deep! He turned to me and pulled me to him and, slowly, we lay down on the ground. One last tear fell on the ground.

- Please, stay with me...tonight.

What was he doing? He hold me tight. Was it because he was feeling down? Well, whatever... I covered him, too, and we fell asleep. So warm...so gentle that I couldn't feel the cold of the ground.
On the next day morning, the sun was rising and woke me up. I looked to Ethan, who was lying down behind me, but he was still sleeping. So cute! I can't wake him up. Besides he's so cute when he's sleeping, he'll get upset if I wake him up. But, I have to do it. The others will know that we're not there and will start to look for us!

- Hum...Ethan...? - I touched in his arm. But he just made a sound. - Ethan...we have to wake up. Everybody will notice that we're not there.

- Just let me sleep a bit more... - he said sleepy. But he pulled me to him while turned around and we ended falling into the lagoon.

Crap! Good way to wake up! We got out of the lagoon and she couldn't stop talking. The only thing that she could say was that it was my fault in different ways. Huh...! I was getting tired of hearing the same thing the whole time! Why does she has to be so annoying when I need her the most!

- What do you have inside of your head?! It's not a brain for sure! - she complained. - Look at this! Look at us! We're completely wet!

Huh! How long does it takes to shut her up?! I grab her arm and kept walking to the camp. She couldn't stop muttering and complaining. But I didn't say a word, too. When, finally, I could see the tents, I noticed that she was quiet. Of course that, after what just happened, they will send me home. Besides, I'm two years older than her, I'm a teacher in this camp. And a relationchip between a teacher and a student is prohibited.

- Well, I guess this is a good-bye. - I said to her.

I was hoping that she would talk after that but, when I looked to her, she was already looking at me with a worry face that almost melted my heart! She didn't say a word. Well, I guess I have to prepare myself to be expelled...
We arrived there. Everybody came to us to know if we were alright and what happened. They were upset because we appeared totally wet and couldn't stop asking the same questions: why are you wet? Where have you been? What happened? Are you alright? I hesitate for a few seconds and when I was ready to answer, I filled my lungs with air, but I only could say the first word, because somebody interrupted me...!

- I'm sorry, teachers. It was my fault. - Abigail said. - I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to see the sunrise next to the little lagoon. I didn't realise that he was watching me... I swear, if he wasn't there, I could have died in the lagoon. He saved me! That's why we're wet. I'm sorry...!

- Is this true, Ethan? - a teacher asked him.

- Yes. I saw her light and I decided to follow her just to know if she was alright. But it was so dark that she fell into the lagoon.

Fortunately, everyone believed in her. But what was she doing?! She could have been expelled! Why did she lie?
Everyone started the activities less the both of us. They went for a walk until a park where has a lot of activities like paintball, hide and seek, target shooting, with fake guns obviously, and that sort of activities.
While we were at sun's shadow trying to get warm.

- Why did you do that? - I asked her, once that we were completely alone.
