- Anyone in here is my boyfriend! Can't you stop with that?! Geeze!

- Excuse me, but who are you to talk with my sister like that?! - my brother got angry.

- Huh! You should be grateful. I saved her a couple days ago. - he told them.

I got upset too. Can't he just shut his mouth up?!

- Hey, Ethan, why don't you go annoy your mother!? - Edward told him.

Wow! What just happened here?! Ethan, or whatever his name is, left our table and the restaurant! I got impressed with Ed! I guess we all got! Edward didn't seem upset when he said that to Ethan.

- What? - Edward asked.

- Dude, you ought to be a policeman. - Dimitri commented.

- You know him? - I asked.

- Yeah. He was from my old school. He got popular when he started to date the most beautiful girl on the entire school. - Edward explained. - He used to be a nice guy, but now...I didn't recognise him! He's totally different from what he was!

I can't believe that guy could be nice. It's not possible...or is it? That look...in that day... He has such beautiful eyes but, he seemed so cold...like if he never had a heart! In that moment, I thought he would beat me or...hurt me... More than he did! Is he a psycho? Still can't imagine him being nice with people.

- That's not the point. And Aggy, why did he call you "death's girl"? - my brother asked me.

He seemed worried. Oh, gosh! What a big trouble! What can I say? He can't find out the truth!

- That's nothing important. Ignore it. He's such a jerk. - I tried covered. - Hum...I guess I'm going to take some fresh air, once the waiter didn't brought the dishes yet.

I stood up and went to the outside of the restaurant. Three minutes later, Edward came to me.

- Please...tell me you didn't... - he said, behind me. I start crying. He grabbed my arm gently, pulled me to him and hold me. - Shh. Don't cry. I won't tell them anything, I promise.

He's so gentle. He dried my tears with his coat sleeves and smiled to me. Such beautiful eyes! And quiet expression!

- Come on, let's go inside.

We went inside of the restaurant again and as the food was already in the table, we all started dinner.

- Why did you take so long? Is everything alright? - my brother Danny asked me.

- Yes, thanks to Edward everything's alright. - I smiled to Ed.

On the next day, in afternoon, the bell rang. I was in my room and I heard Danny talking with somebody.

- What are you doing here? - my brother asked. - Today's not bowling day.

- I know. I came to visit Abigail. - the boy said.

- Aggy? She's in her room. Go ahead.

- Actually, can you call her, please? I wanted to invite her for a walk on the park. Don't worry, she'll be back for dinner time.

After a few minutes of silence, Danny knocked on my door.

- Hey, sis, you have a visit. Dress up quickly and come downstairs.

For my surprise, who was waiting for me downstairs? Edward. Finally, a good surprise!

- Edward! Hi! What a beautiful surprise. What are you doing here? Today's not bowling day...

- I know. - he smiled. - I came to take you for a walk.

I smiled to him and we left my house. We walked and we walked, although I didn't know the reason why he invited me. After a while, we sat in a bench in front of a playground.

- So, what happened last night? - he asked me. - And don't say "nothing" 'cause I know you!

I looked at him in the eyes and I sighed.

- Yes. Do you want to hear it from me? Yes, I wanted to kill myself. Happy?

- Why? Are you an idiot?! What were you thinking about?!

- I'm sorry. I was tired of being used... - I started crying. - I was tired that Thomas didn't care about me. He didn't stop the guys. I almost died! I just...wanted to forget everything... And why are you talking with me like that? Can't you see that I'm feeling guilty enough?!

- I'm... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to... - he gave me a hug. - I'm so sorry! I just don't like see you crying...or suffering because of a guy who doesn't deserves you! Hey, I've got an idea: why don't we go eat an ice cream?

- Sorry, but I don't want it right now. My stomach hurts.

- So, that's the best medicine! - he said, smiling. - Come on. Stay here while I buy two ice creams for us, okay?

He ran to buy the ice creams quickly. But I was still sad with myself. And angry... He came back and gave me the strawberry one. I can't believe he still remembers my favourite flavour! So sweet!

He sat down on the bench again and said:

- Hey, look. An airplane!

I looked up but I didn't see anything. What the hell...? Then I looked down and when I realised, I had ice cream in my face.

- Hey, my ice cream! Why are you laughing? It's not funny...! - I complained. So I did him the same. I grabbed his hand and pushed it to his face. He got dirty with ice cream too. And I started laughing. - Oh, you're so right. It is so funny!

- Okay, it's fair. - he admitted.

We cleaned our faces, but I couldn't take that little moment out of my mind. I kept laughing. But, at the same time, his smile... It was the first time I saw he laughing like that. And he looked so...beautiful, I guess...

- What? - he asked me.

- Nothing. I was just wondering... It's the first time I see you laughing. Normally, you get too serious...

- And you prefer the old version. - he ended.

- No, it's not that! It's just... sometimes is hard to say if you're having fun or not...because you just smile a bit, you know?

- I'm not that serious. I'm just peaceful.

And we ended laughing of what just happened. And as he promised to my brother, he brought me home in time for dinner.
