[A/N: I realize I have a few grammar mistakes in my last chapter and I'm sorry about that! I don’t reread my chapters for grammar I reread them to make sure they make sense so I just skim through them…after I'm done with the whole story I may go back and edit the errors but I think you’ll understand it even with the few mess ups! This story is based in Illinois (where I'm from) so I may make a few references about the state like towns/cities FYI…anyways on to the chapter!]
Winter time and we’re swimming…you probably think we’re crazy but we actually aren’t. We’re swimming at our grandparents’ house which happens to be a block away from ours. My mom is one of eleven so our grandparents have many grandchildren so when they went looking for a new house they didn’t forget about all of us grandkids. They found this house and it just so happened to have an indoor pool. If you ask them they will say the bought the house for the location but we all know they don’t need an indoor pool or 2,000 sq feet, when it’s just the 2 of them and Ginger.
Ginger, their dog, came up to me wagging her tail like crazy; seeing as she’s still a puppy and a Samoa she has lots of energy!
“Hey ginger, time to play huh?” I asked her as she dropped her favorite toy, a neon pink tennis ball, at my feet. I threw the ball into the long hallway that led to various rooms, watching her meet it at the end and run it back to me.
“Are you coming?” I turned around to see Kyle leaning against the granite counter top in the kitchen; I wonder how long he had been standing there. He was only wearing board shorts that hung low, maybe a little too low.
“Yeah, I’ll be out in a couple minutes.” I stated hoping that he didn’t notice me staring at his body but I can’t help it, he’s hot and I'm not the only one who knew! He smiled nodding his head then proceeded to walk back out near the closed in deck and pool leaving me alone with my thoughts again.

Three and a half hours later we were still at my grandparents but now we were playing the Wii in the large living room. Most of Nathan’s friends have left since swimming leaving only Lacey, Kyle, my brother and I to play, so of course it was guys vs. girls. Lacey and I kicked ass in bowling while Kyle and Nathan won golf. It was up to the last game, boxing, to see who would win. If girls win the guys have to make us breakfast for the next 3 days and if the guys win we have to make them dinner for the next week, so what I'm saying is girls must win this round! Lace and I didn’t really want to make dinner for a whole week, especially for them two!
“Who’s going first?” Lacey spoke up looking at all of us.
“I will.” I stated confidently. Lacey smiled know that I was pretty amazing at boxing while the boys had no clue.
“Sister vs. Brother” Kyle said looking over at Nathan. Nathan was horrible at this game and we all knew it; Kyle must think I'm worse, oh how sadly mistaken he is…

“And that’s another win for girls across the world!” Lacey and I both cheered together in victory.
“Hey, don’t look so sad boys its only 3 days!” Lacey said, trying to hold back laughter. The boys responded back with a somewhat smirk but you could tell it was painted on.
We finally went our separate ways each of us going to our own homes. As we left I gave Lacey a hug and told Kyle we would see him bright and early tomorrow, oh how great it is to win. Following Nathan into our house I realized Kyle’s gym bag was lying by the stairs but ignored it assuming that he forgot it when we went to our grandparents.
