~Neville's POV~

Groaning I slowly re-gained consciousness, without opening my eyes I breathed in the sweet fresh air heavily and tried to remember what happened. Auction, Lestrange, collar.....GINNY, CHO, KATIE!! I opened my eyes and sat up straight. The world took a moment to focus; I was in a garden, a large garden with roses of all colours' everywhere along with other various plants I recognised instantly; The Stirrupous flower recognisable by the way it hummed softly when the sun was out, a danzonia bush with bright red seed pods throbbing all over it, Foxglove its light purple and pink flowers waving silently side to side. I looked around and then it hit me, all the plants here except for the roses were poisons. I shook my head where was I that could hold such a variety of killing plants? I turned around and my mouth dropped not only was Lestrange sitting behind me but I had been resting my head in her lap! I scrambled away and glared at her then looking up I noticed the large manor looming behind her. It was huge, not as big as Hogwarts but....seriously coming close. It was dark bricked with green Ivy snaking its way up the walls. It was amazing yes, but had an uneasy sense of evil, death consumed this house to its core. I shivered at the thought that Bellatrix Lestrange was probably in there....She would pay.

~Thorne's POV~

"Good to see you're not dead, that would have been a shame, wasting 500 galleons on a weak little slave" I cooed snickering at his dumbfound expression. Neville dropped his gaze from my manor back to me "But you will kill me anyway?" He said harshly confirming what he already guessed. "Most definitely, just not yet, I like to play with my toys before I break them" I sneered smirking at Neville's grotesque expression. "You are sick! I would rather die than serve you!" He said trying to be brave, but I could see past that, he was a scared little rabbit caught in my trap. "Poor little Neville, You will serve me, If you don't want to end up like mummy and daddy" I said smirking. Neville's face paled and he growled "DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT THEM!"He shouted causing a flock of birds to fly out of a large chestnut tree. I smirked a plan forming in my mind, he would break and be my slave wether he like it or not. And I planned to make him not like it at all.

Flicking my wand one of the birds stopped in mid air and landed besides Neville. It chirped loudly in distress and was trying to fly off but couldn't. Neville glanced at it then back at me, a worried expression on his face. "I think Neville" I purred "That you need to learn just what happens when you're a rude little boy" I said. The bird hopped slightly closer to me so it was in the middle of us, its sleek light brown feathers ruffling in the soft wind. It turned to look straight at Neville. I looked up at him and put my head to one side slightly then said loudly and clearly "Crucio" the bird let out a shrill tweet. It shook and collapsed on the ground shaking and flapping its wings out then tightly around its body. "Stop it!" he yelled picking up the bird who continued to writhe in his hands. He looked at me tears streaming down his face "You're sick! Stop it!"He pleaded. I smirked and withdrew my wand. The bird shivered and collapsed in Neville's hands it chest fluttering up and down with uneven breaths.

Neville looked up at me "You're as crazy as your mother!" he said cradling the bird softly. "Why thank you Neville" I said tucking my curly black hair behind my ear that was incidentally exactly like my mother's; untameable. He didn't answer just softly cooed to the bird and stroked its head lightly. I watched in fascination not realising I was staring at his furrowed eyes that were concentrating on keeping the small bird alive. He looked up and our eyes met. "What?!" he asked harshly. I blushed, it was the last thing I expected or wanted to do. He looked at me strangely for a moment before turning back to the bird. O great, now I was going soft, well no not really, all I did was blush. Yeah and you don't blush Thorne! Never! I hissed to myself. Shaking the hot scarlet out of my cheeks, I lay down on the crisp green grass. "Well Neville, there are some rules you must learn in my house so you don't end up like your feathered friend here" he just glared at me not saying a word.

~Neville's POV~

I felt sick, even though she hadn't done anything to me, seeing the bird tortured made me think of my parents. That they must have been under the same thing writhing in pain, but still strong enough to not say a word to Bellatrix, I shuddered, the only time I had felt like this was in third year when mad-eye moody or I should probably say Barty Crouch Junior, used it in class.

I stroked the bird's soft feathers lightly trying to get it to calm down. It was still shaking and was breathing quickly. I turned to Lestrange; she was staring at me intently, not menacingly, more curiously? I glared at her, "what?!" I asked looking away not wanting to see her cruel face any longer, even if it had softened and....was that a blush? It couldn't be!? I looked back but it had gone, she lay down "Well Neville, there are some rules you must learn in my house so you don't end up like your feathered friend here" She said. I just glared, how she or anyone could be so cruel was beyond me, the sickness of it all made me want to throw up. I looked around looking again for another way to escape. She wasn't paying attention and her wand was in her hand loosely. Maybe I could grab it, stun her and find a way out of here.

She seemed to notice my gaze and her grip quickly tightened on her wand, so much for that plan, she smirked at me knowingly "my, my you are a naughty little slave" she purred her voice soft but her dark blue eyes boring into mine. I swallowed and tried to look away but couldn't, I felt spine tingling like the bird I was still clutching in my cupped hands. "Now where was I? O yes, rules my pet" she said "firstly, Do everything I or another pure witch or wizard asks of you, understand?" I glared at her, not wanting to answer her. Like hell I would do anything she said! I gently placed the bird down on the grass, ignoring her completely. The small animal hopped a little before spreading its wings to test them, once deemed worthy the bird shot up in the sky and have off one last tweet before disappearing.

She stared at me for at least a minute more while i watched the now non existent dot of the far off bird, waiting for my reply, when I didn't answer she sighed and moved faster than I could even think to defend myself. She was un-top of me. Her legs straddled over my waist and her arms pinning mine to the ground. I struggled but she was too strong. She smiled down at me wickedly "rule 2 only speak when spoken too and make sure you reply if spoken too" she said bringing her face close to my ear. I shivered as her cool breath hit my skin. I struggled again but she held me firm "understand my pet?" she asked harshly glaring at me. I growled at her and turned my face away, feeling like a child, even though she was the same age as me. Like hell I would submit to her! She waited a little longer and smiled wickedly, as if she had been hoping I would disobey.

"Naughty Naughty" she cooed reaching into her boot. She pulled out her wand and traced it lightly on my cheek. Her knee was now holding down my left arm. I pulled at my right arm trying to get it out from her grip. She dug her nails in deeply and I felt a trickle of blood run down my arm. I winced and continued to glare. "Understand my pet?" she repeated her wand now running down my chest and back up to my neck going in a slow circle. "Rot in hell!" I spat, instantly regretting it. Her eyes hardened and she raised her hand slapping my cheek hard. My head flew to the side and stung red. I turned back to her and glared "whatever, I understand" I said "Now get off me!" I growled squirming, she was incredibly strong. She smiled triumphantly and rolled off of me. I sat up quickly and shuffled further away from her. "Next rule, you can call me by my name but when mother or father are around call me mistress" She said sitting cross legged opposite me, like she hadn't just slapped my cheek raw.

That's when I realised I didn't even know her name, I knew her mother and father but not her. Yes she went to Hogwarts with me but that was a long time ago, she left when her parents broke out of Azkaban, before then being raised by the Malfoy's. She had been quiet and kept to the shadows, but things always ended up in a dismal situation when she was around. "What is your name?" I asked trying to keep the curiosity out of my voice. She smiled at me; it would have been a nice smile if it didn't carry traces that I was inferior. "Thorne, Thorne Lestrange" she said. I snickered, it was fitting, she was as sharp and deadly as a thorn, but was still very beautiful, in a scary rip out your throat way. She laughed "do you like my name Neville?" she asked looking at me like a puppy wanting praise. I looked her up and down "It suits you" I said bluntly. She beamed and leant back, "Thank you Neville" I looked at her in surprise "you're welcome" I said against my better judgment.

There you are chapter four! Hope you guys liked it! Do you think Thorne was too harsh? Do we all hate her? Don't worry more characters (Hopefully nicer ones) will be coming into the story shortly! If you guys have any ideas I'd love to hear them! <3 Please COMMENT, VOTE and SAVE!
