You and Dylan had known each other for the longest time, and it was well know that the two of you were more than comfortable together. Dylan was undoubtedly your best friend, but recently you had noticed he would get overly defensive or jealous when it came to other males speaking to you.

One day, while getting frozen yogurt with Dylan, your phone went off. Answering, you realized it was an old friend of yours, so you took a moment to speak to him. Dylan, being the cutie he is, waited out the conversation.

After hanging up, Dylan looked more than displeased.

"Hey, what's wrong?" You poked Dylan's face and he grunted.

"It's nothing. Why don't you ask him?" He remarked gesturing towards your phone.

"Dylan, please, you know you're my best-" he interrupted you.

"So help me God, if you label me with that "friend" crap again I think I'll lose my mind. I thought it was obvious I had feelin-" he caught himself and instantly tried to cover his tracks.

His face blushed a bright red and he tried to change the subject, taking your yogurt (seeing as his was empty) and shoveling it into his mouth.

"Dylan?" You asked, softly placing your hand over his.

His face, if at all possible, blushed even more.

"Dylan do you l-" he cut you off again, before you could finish asking him if he liked you.

"Yes, okay?! I love you, and I have for the longest time. I just couldn't risk you not feeling the same way." He groaned, placing his head in his hands.

Ever so softly you replied, "I love you, too."
