Chapter X

Janelys' POV

Anthony rushed me to the hospital immediately after leaving the club. After everything that'd happened tonight, the last thing I was thinking about was myself. I was too busy thinking about how that bitch Mya disrespected me and took me out of character. I've been trying so hard to control my anger and be the bigger person in bothersome situations like this, but this bitch really tried it. She better not let me catch her ass in these streets 'cause best believe I got something for that ass.

As soon as the doctor seen me, he thought that I'd been involved in an accident of some sort because of all of the glass that was lodged into my skin. (Shit, if he thought I looked bad, I can't even imagine how he'd react if he seen Mya). I made up some phony story and continued to brush off the situation -- the last thing I needed was for this nigga to be all up in my business. 

After removing all of the shards of glass from my skin, he took some x-rays of the wrist that I'd been holding all night. Turns out that the bitch was sprained. Great. Hearing that shit just pissed me off all over again. He wrapped an ace bandage around it, put my arm in a sling, and told me to take it easy for a few weeks.

When we got home, Anthony carried me upstairs to our bedroom and sat me down on the bed. I sat in silence and watched as he got undressed in front of me. "How you feelin' bae?" he asked unbuckling his belt. I shrugged my shoulders and remained silent. "You good?" he asked, sounding slightly concerned. 

I sighed. "Please don't have me out here lookin' stupid Ant," I finally replied. "If there's more to this story that I need to know, then be real wit me and let me know now so I won't have to find nothing out from the next bitch."

Anthony looked at me with a confused expression on his face. "Babe what are you talkin' about? I already told you, that shit was nothing. I fucked that bitch back home a few months back and that's it. It ain't go any further than that."

 "That bitch made it seem like she was way more than just a quick nut to you Ant. All I'm asking is for you to be honest with me right now. Were you or were you not in a relationship with that bitch?"

Anthony smacked his teeth and kneeled down in between my legs, looking directly into my eyes. "Baby I'm tellin' you the truth aight, I was never wit that bitch. I met the bitch through some mutual friends at a function, I was faded, she was lookin' right and shit just happened. It only went down that one time. After that, it was nothing serious at all. I mean yeah, she gave a nigga her number and shit and I'd hit her up every now and then for some head or whatever, but after a lil while she started gettin' too clingy and I cut that ass loose. I can honestly say that I didn't know she was here, shit I don't even know how she knew I was here. All I know is that idgaf about that bitch, I love you and I only want you baby." 

I looked at him for a few moments before nodding my head. "Aight, that's all I needed to know. I'ma dead the situation and I don't ever wanna hear about it again," I said giving Anthony a peck on the lips. "I'm cool with that," Anthony replied with a smile. 

He finished stripping down and climbed into bed as I started getting up. "I'm going to take a shower babe, I'll be out in a little," I said walking towards the bathroom. "Aight I'm here if you need me baby." I nodded and walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

I let the water run while I got undressed and just stared at myself in the mirror. I shook my head, noticing my appearance for the first time all night. I couldn't believe how crazy shit got. I took off my bandages and got in the shower.

 About an hour later, I got out and threw on one of Ant's t-shirts. I walked into the bedroom and cuddled up next to Anthony, who had already fallen asleep waiting for me. I stared at him for a few moments and smiled before falling asleep.
