It was just like any other day in this city. Sun was shining, everyone was going about their day, heading to work, meeting up with friends, seemingly unaware of the danger in the world. This was how it always was in Jump City, it was nice.*BOOM*
A dynamite stick blew as the wall from a nearby bank collapsed. Coming out of the bank vault was a man in a grey jumpsuit, with a bag of money thrown over his shoulder. Laughing the man begins to flee the scene, but stops when he hears a voice call out to him.
"S-stop right t-there!" cried a weak voice. The man turns around to find a teenage girl with long blue hair and green eyes. Her outfit consisted of a purple shirt with the sleeves going halfway down her arms. On the shoulders of her shirt were light purple streaks, almost like lightning bolts, that were stretched down to her torso. She also had a light purple belt, with light blue lightning bolts across it, holding up her black pants, that had two light purple streaks going around her thighs. To complete it was purple sneakers and black gloves with a V, light purple design over it. The girl was shaking, terrified of the criminal before her, "That m-money doesn't...belong t-to you. P-please put it b-back!"
"Ha!" laughed the man, who had a french accent, "I was expecting the famous Teen Titans, not this quivering lass. You're in way over your peti head. There's no way an amateur, such as yourself, can defeat the Magnificent Andre Le Blanc!"
"Remember your training," the girl thought, "Watch what he does and make sure he doesn't harm any civilians."
"Take this!" shouted Le Blanc as he threw multiple sticks oflit dynamite towards her.
"If I dodge them, people could get hurt," the girl thought as she began to concentrate, "Slice it!"
Just then a sharp wind sliced the tips of the dynamite off defusing them as they fell to the ground.
"What?" Le Blanc said stunned, but quickly regained himself as threw, what looked like grenades at her. Before the girl could react, the grenades blew as a blinding light shined in her eyes. When the light faded, Le Blanc was further ahead, making a break for it.
"G-get back here!" she cried chasing after him. Le Blanc was far ahead of her, there was no way she was going to catch up to him on foot.
"I've got to stop him," she thought concentrating once again.
"Hahaha! You'll never catch me!" laughed Le Blanc, after a while he looked behind him and saw no one chasing him, "Ha, lost her."
Then Le Blanc started to be lifted into the air by a gust of wind. Struggling to be free, Le Blanc cried out for help, trying to understand what was happening. He efforts were futile as he was trapped in a circle cage of wind.
"G-got yah," said the girl hovering in the air next to him.
"Who are you?" asked Le Blanc, stupefied by his defeat.
"This is it!" the girl thought, "The big reveal! Don't mess it up!"
"I-I am...The Great, no, no, no, The Raging, oh goodness no!" the girl struggled to say, "I'm Tempest..Of the Skies!"
Le Blanc, along with the civilians in the area, looked at the girl with confusion and disbelief. This was the girl, who took down a criminal? You've got to be kidding!
"Well, there goes my big reveal! Now I look like an idiot," Tempest thought as a sweat drop went down her face, "Being a hero is harder than I thought."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"*sigh*, I'm such an idiot," Tempest whined walking down an alleyway of the city. She had delivered Le Blanc to the authorities, but she was utterly embarrassed by her terrible introduction. Even as she walked through the dark city of the night, "Why can't I be cool and awesome like the Teen Titans? They make it seem so easy..."
