Rise of Tempest

A Friend in Need

"Run! Just keep running!" This was the only thought that ran through Tempest's mind, "They're right behind me!"

In the dead of night, behind her multiple cloaked figures were gaining on her. Every now and again firing blaster shots at her as she ran through the city.

"I've got to make it to them," she thought panicking some more, "They can help me!"

Making it to the water's edge, Tempest looked out to find a large tower on a island in the middle of the ocean. She immediately took to the skies and headed for the tower. Looking behind her to see if they were still following her, Tempest was shocked to see that they were not only still following her, but they had taken to the air.

"This is bad," she thought trying to hurry to the tower, "Really, really bad!"

When she had finally reached the tower doors, Tempest began to pound on the door hoping someone would hear her, "HEY! CAN ANYONE HEAR ME! I NEED HELP!"

The cloaked pursuers had cornered her by the doors. Tempest terrified as tears ran down her face, hoping for a miracle, cried out, "Please!"

Just as the cloaked figures began to charge their blasters, the door opened and a familiar voice called out to her, "TEMPEST!"

A sonic canon blast whipped past her and blasted one of the attackers. Then she was picked up by her friend, Cyborg.

"Tempest, are you alright?" he asked with worried eyes.

Before she could answer, two of the cloaked figures charged for them. "Look out!" she cried.

Before Cyborg could move, a blast of green light came from out of nowhere and destroyed the figures upon impact. The two turned to the tower entrance and Tempest couldn't believe her eyes. Standing before them was the rest of the Teen Titans; Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven.

Robin's costume is consisted of green tights with black ankle-high steel-toed boots, green elbow-high gloves, a short-sleeve green t-shirt underneath a red armored vest with a yellow letter "R" inside a black circle over his left portion of his chest, a yellow utility belt and a black cape that has a yellow interior. He has on a black-and-white domino mask, has his black hair spiked backwards, light skin and an athletic-build.

Starfire has long fiery-red hair that goes down to her waist and straight with bangs. She has small eyebrows, and green eyes with light-green scleras. She is tall, with bright orange skin, and her outfit is mostly violet with a belt, her neck and gauntlets being silver. She also wears an armband on her right arm, which is also silver. Starfire wears a violet sleeveless crop top showing her midriff, a violet mini-skirt, and violet thigh-high boots with white stocking.

Beast Boy is the shortest of the group. His outfit consists of a black and purple suit with a silver utility belt. Beast Boy also has short green hair, eyes and skin.

Raven's outfit is mostly made up of dark blue/indigo. She wears a blue cloak with a hood, with matching blue ruffled ankle-boots with blackish-gray soles, with a leotard-like long-sleeved shirt that is bluish-black with cuffs at her wrists of the same blue of her cloak. On her cloak, she has a circular black/red jewel set in a gold plate that attaches the whole thing together. The jewel also sometimes has a raven head shape in the jewel. Around her waist she has a red and gold belt with the same jewels around it, while her legs are exposed. The belt ties at the back like a cord. Her hair and eyes are violet. She has a red and black bindi on her forehead, and has very pale, almost gray skin, which makes her appearance somewhat demonic.

"Titans Go!" shouted Robin as the team went into action. Cyborg placed Tempest by the entrance of the tower.

"You should be safe here for now," said Cyborg as he prepped his sonic cannon, "I'll be back once we've trashed these jerks."
