Chapter 5

Lexus' POV

I'm currently on top of a tree staring blankly at the warriors of this pack. Named Shadow Pack and tonight my mission is to first kill their Beta.

They said the Shadow Pack is the most fearsome pack in the world and its also tightly guarded.

I got down from the trees and attack the warriors with my silver knife while using my ninja skills.

I may be a half werewolf but silver doesn't affect me.

After attacking I heard Kenon talk in our ear phones.

'Shadow, North. Nobody's guarding there' He said as I run to the North luckily we know a witch and gave us a potion so that the wolves wouldn't smell us.

As I got there a wolf charge at me and I quickly dodge it. Eyes winded as I stare at the wolf. The girl I met earlier. But.. H-How? No... The Mate Bond... The others won't smell me except for her.

She growl at me as I heard her whimper. She must have realize that her mate is a hunter. But why does it kills me tho.. Arghh!! Why does this have to be so hard!

I look at her and her eyes are full of sadness as she whimper then I saw wolf warriors coming towards us.

'Shadow! Get the heck out there! There's so many of them!!" Kenon yelled as I escape.

As I got to our hide out far away from the pack I saw Kenon staring at me.

"What happened to you?" He ask as I ignore him and took my mask off.

"Lexus, this is the second time you can't kill the same wolf!" He yelled as I glare at him.

"Shut the **** Up!" I yelled and he just stared at me with disbelief and fix his stuff.

Why couldn't I kill that wolf?

"You know that pack is the top. 1 fearsome pack in the whole world. And we're the only one that got pass its boarder. I think your Father will be happy 'bout it" Kenon said as I nod and put my weapons in the trunk.

After fixing our stuff I heard a twig crack and loon where I heard it. But I saw nothing so I shrug my shoulders and got inside Kenon'a black Lamborghini.

Alex's POV

Eyes winded as I hide behind the tree so that he won't see me.

No.... For all the person in the world I was mated to... A... H-Hunter... Why does this need to happen in my life?

Skylark my wolf whimpered as I look down and shift into my wolf form and run to where my feet will take me.

Tears kept rolling down as I quickly run even faster.

After running I found myself in a backyard of a closest friend of mine. She's half werewolf and a half human. And yes she's a also hunter that shocked me when we first met but I got over it.

"Alex?" I heard her as I whimper in pain. She quickly run towards me and place her hand on my fur as I whimper even more.

"What happen? C'mon come inside tell me everything" She said while smiling as I nod.

We walked inside as I went to the bathroom and shift and put on my clothes that Rose gave to me. I was out the bathroom and saw her sitting on the sofa and drinking coffee.

I sat besides her and look down as I felt her hug me making me cry and hug her back.

"There, There. Let it all out and tell what happen" She said as I nod.

After crying I drank water that she gave to me and sigh deeply.

"W-W-What will you feel if y-you found out... T-that your *sobs* Mate's a k-killing monster?" I ask as I sob.

"A R-Rouge?" She stutter as I shook my head.

"A.... Hunter... T-the fearsome hunter we all k-know" I sob and saw her stiff.

"I-isn't it G-great? The *sobs* Moon Goddess mated *sniff* Me w-with a *sniff* Monster" I cried again and she hug me.

"M-maybe.. I-it means something" She said as I look at her with a curious look.

" 'means something'? Rose, I was mated to a hunter name SHADOW. That hated Werewolves! And He can even kill--" I got cut off when I smell that scent. The scent of the killer I was mated to.

'M-Mate...' Skylark whimper as I also whimper.

"Lexus, Y-you're Home!" Said Rose as I look at her with a puzzled look and she just smiled nervously.

"Yeah Yeah. I'm starv--" Lexus didn't finish what he's saying when his eyes landed on me.

"What is she doing here?" He ask. Well coldly I assume.

"Lexus, Don't be like that to her" Rose said and glare at him.

"Why? What if Father found out about this?!" He yelled at her making me frighten.

Is this what the Moon Goddess wants me to be with?

Seeing my mate like this hurts me a lot. I look at his eyes. The eyes of a killer that might kill you anytime he wants. The cold eyes of a Deadly Hunter.

"Dad will not know this unless someone told him!" Rose yelled.

'Alex, let's go... I can't stand seeing this' Said Skylark as I whimpered and look at Him.

He look at me then suddenly his eyes soften for a second then went back for being cold.

I sigh deeply and called Rose.

"Rose, I better go now. I think I came in a wrong timing" I said and turn around.

"Whaa---? Alex!" Rose called but I didn't listen and continue walking outside then shift as I run towards the woods back to my pack.

Its hurts... I feel like he's going to reject me.

Lexus' POV

I stare at the she-wolf as she run out the house and sigh then felt a hand came contact with my cheek.

"What was that for!?" I yelled angrily and saw my sister glaring at me with daggers as I gulp.

"Do you even know what will happen when you act like that to your Mate!?" She growled as I huff and cross my arms.

"Hmm.. They'll lose it like any other normal human girls" I said but she just grab my collar.

"You Idiot! How could you say that without even caring!?" She yelled as I shrug.

"She's right. You're a Heartless Killer" She spat and turn around as she walk towards her room.

I stare dumbfounded at the ground and repeated what just my sister said.

Suddenly I felt pain in my chest. Heck! What happen to me!? I suddenly felt guilty towards a she-wolf!?
