Fight the Dragon, Its Fire and Its Strains

Fight the dragon, its fire and its strains,

Until now no one took a step forward,

Always seeping through unfortunate veins

Slay the fiend to step on higher planes.

Forget the prayers and draw your sword,

Fight the dragon, its fire and its strains

Torn, oppressed, confusing hearts with brains,

Forget them both as they drain your word,

Always seeping through unfortunate veins

See your comrades in field, their bloodstains,

And ignore the command given by your lord,

Fight the dragon, its fire and its strains

Your friends and foes have fallen in its chains.

Laugh and cry for the beast since birth adored

Always seeping through unfortunate veins

Cleanse your bonds and the kingdom's remains,

Leave no crimson plume as a token of concord,

Fight the dragon, its fire and its strains

Always seeping through unfortunate veins
