Chapter four

Ashley sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror she really didn't want to do this the thought of watching her brother and her ex being all over each other was not something she was looking forward too.

Also the fact that miss Brixton would be there too was also not something she was looking forward too but then again maybe her mum was right maybe she should move on and miss Brixton wasn't exactly a bad looking woman.

Once ashley was ready she made her way downstairs and saw her family moving around quickly and in a rush she guessed that the guests would be arriving soon and they were doing the last minute preparations. Ashley moved into the kitchen her mother was placing what she liked to call nibbly bits on trays, Jade got the filled trays and put them on the tables.

"Ah Ashley can Faye use your room to get ready?" Christina asked when she looked up and noticed her. Ashley shrugged as if she wasn't bothered just as Faye walked in, she was wearing her boy shorts and a tank top her hair was messed up from sleeping.

Ashley had to stop herself from smiling she still looked adorable when she first woke up Ashley took a tray which was full and moved into the back room just as her mum told Faye she could get ready in Ashley's room.

Jade watched her sister as she put the tray on the table she saw the small smile that was on her face. When Faye walked in jade noticed Ashley looked away and was blushing jades eyes widened in surprise.

"Thanks ash" Faye said as she walked past Ashley just nodded not really sure what to say as she went back to the kitchen jade knew she would have to step in soon none of this would end well sure her brother Toby word bounce back he always did but Ashley and Faye were a different story there was history there and no matter how much Ashley pretends to not care she does really and is Faye got her head out of her ass and see that Ashley was the one for her Ashley would be happy.

Ashley watched as Faye left to get ready for her party, hers and Toby's she sighed running a hand through her hair. Ashley hoped one day it would be hers and Faye's party she remembered having the ring in her pocket the day Faye broke up with her. It wasn't an engagement ring it was too soon for that but it was a ring that was a promise, a promise to ask her when they were ready but as she watched and listened to Faye tell her she was straight and that their relationship was a joke the ring felt heavier in her pocket and her heart broke.

Ashley walked into her room forgetting that Faye was in there when she looked up she saw Faye with her back to her she only had her bra and jeans on Ashley gulped as she watched the muscles move beneath her skin.

When Faye turned round she saw Ashley watching her. Her eyes were glazed over as she took in Faye if she was honest it made her feel sexy something she didn't really feel that way with Toby at least not now.

Faye coughed to get Ashley's attention she didn't want the other girl to realise what she was doing and get embarrassed Ashley heard the cough and looked at her blushing snd wide eyed.

"Umm sorry about that I forgot you were in here" Ashley murmured looking at the floor and refusing to look up.

"It's ok do you need something?" Faye asked Ashley looked up and gulped Faye had certainly toned up since she last saw her 'yeah you' Ashley thought before she mentally scolded herself for thinking that about her brothers fiancée.

"No it's ok" Ashley turned to the door and went to leave until she felt a hand on her arm when she looked at it she saw Faye had reached out to stop her from going Ashley turned to see how close Faye actually was to her. She could feel her warm breath on her face.

"Tell me ash" Faye begged but Ashley said nothing and once again she refused to look at her " we are suppose to be trying to be friends" Faye said her tone a bit more sharp than it once was Ashley moved back.

"It's too hard! I am trying I really am but seeing you again it's causing me to feel things that I have tried so hard to push away everything I felt for you and then." She stopped not wanting to look at her or reveal to much.

"What? Then what?!" Faye was losing patience she thinks she knows what Ashley will say but she needs to hear her say it.
