Demigods at Hogwarts

Chapter 9

Hermione's pov

I was standing in the middle of a huge room receiving the Nobel Prize. I wasn't sure what I did but it must have been pretty big. The crowd bellow me was changing my name over and over again but one voice stuck out. Then, I felt like I was having a seizure - my body began shaking rapidly.
"HERMIONE WAKE UP!!" I woke with a start to Lilly Ann rapidly shaking me awake.  "It's 10." Great so they inturrupt my amazing dream to tell me it was 10 o'clock. 10...
"OH MY GOD! I'm late for class!" I was in the bathroom, getting dressed not more than 10 seconds later. "Ok let's go. Snape is going to have me expelled for this!" I began to drag them along with me until I realised that all the girls were laughing.
"It's Saturday; we are going to Hogsmaede today!" Annabeth said in between giggles. I blushed and looked down saying,
"It's not that funny."

"How about we get butterbeer first?"'I offered as we stood at the foot of hogsmaede.
"What's butterbeer?" Piper, Annie and Lilly said, confused.
"Why, it only one of the most delicious, mouth watering, heart-warming, glorious-" I was cut off when-
"Must be the 'Percy's sister' thing. He's also obsessed with food." Piper told me after Lilly run off like a crazy person, searching every shop window to find it.
"So is Ron." We laughed and I led her towards The Three-Broomsticks, just as Lia got there.

After a couple of butterbeers each (Lilly drunk 4) we made our way towards the dress shop so we could get some dresses for ourselves for the Yule Ball. We walked around a bit, looking into the windows of shops while Lilly kept complaining that she didn't feel well.
"Holy Aphrodite! You shouldn't have drunk that much." Piper and Annabeth scolded. I tried to suppress my laughter, and put on a concerned face. She just groaned and pointed to behind Piper, Annabeth and I.
"What?" Piper asked.
"Your mum." I seriously don't like when people answer 'your mum' or tell 'yo mamma jokes' they are crude. Piper turned around. I could see her face drain of all colour, making me turn around as well. Behind us, stood an enchanting woman, she was wearing a beautiful smile on her face and waved at us, mostly Piper, Lia and Annabeth. She was like the goddess of beauty.
"Hello girls! A lovely day for shopping isn't it?" She said, coming over. Piper glared at the women while Lilly replied a quick yes and Annabeth nodded, I could tell that they (apart from Piper) were about to kneel down in front of the lady.
"Oh don't worry, I'm not here to interfere with the quest. Oh, hello. I'm Pipers mum, who are you dear?" She asked me. I tried to make a sound but I couldn't. I could see how a famous actor would fall for her easily.
"That's Hermione." Piper said, not raising her glare. "And you should leave." Despite Pipers deadly tone, her mother didn't flinch or show any sign of fear. If I was her I would be running for the hills by then. Or I would already be there.
"Now now, Piper. I have something for you. And Lilly Ann, I have a gift to deliver from your father also Annabeth, your mother wishes for me to give you something." Lilly looked up, clearly she wasn't feeling sick anymore, God now she was excited.
"Dad..." She said excitedly as if she didn't hear that word for centuries.
"Yes. Now how about some tea?" Annabeth, Lilly and I nodded but Piper looked anything but eager.
"Now Hermione." I was excited as she turned to me, "hmm, brown hair, gorges brown eyes, not that tall, something could be arranged." She waved her hand and suddenly we were all standing in a small tea shop.
"How-" I asked Lilly but she was too excited to answer. I would have to get answers later. Pipers mum poured us tea, not wanting to be rude, I drank some
"Right now, Lilly. Here is your Yule Ball dress that your father would want you to wear." The lady said and waved her hand, dressing Lilly in this dress (www.polyvore.com/lilly_ans_yule_b...). She was awe standing. She twirled, her dress moving like the calm waves of the ocean. It was a deep ocean blue at the top slowly fading into sea-green towards the bottom. It was quite long, reaching to her ankles. Heck, It was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I noticed that around her neck she had a necklace, shaped like a fork, maybe it was trident. Something along those lines. Also her hair had some blue and pink streaks in it.
"Thanks dad." She whispered. I swear I heard a reply. Lilly smiled. Wait, how did Pipers mum manage to make a dress appear on Lilly? She waved her hand and the dress was replaced by muggle cloths while a small package landed in Lilly's hands. Lilly smiled at it like crazy. Her hair was back to the normal blonde color but her necklace stayed.
"I'm sure it will make a certain boy really happy. You guys are such a cute couple. I need to come up with a ship name for you and -" she was cut off by Lilly's hand.
"I'm sorry but can we not discuss this here? Or now? Or ever?" Lilly asked blushing bright red. I really new to find out who she's going with! Pipers mum (you know what, I'm going to call her Mrs. Maclean. Yup.) than turned to Annabeth.
"Annabeth, A- you mother wants you to wear this." Mrs. Maclean waved her hand and Annabeth was dressed in a stormy grey dress (www.polyvore.com/fancy_grey_ball/...). Her make up was grey with hint of blue and she wore an owl necklace around her neck. "Yes, now Piper." She waved her hand again and Annabeths dress was in a package like Lilly's, silver wrapping.
"Piper for you I have this." I could hear Piper muttering 'not pink' under her breath. Things didn't go as planned for her though, she was wearing a gorges pink dress (www.polyvore.com/elegant_pink_whi...).
"Wow." I breathed.
"Wow indeed." Mrs. Maclean nodded and turned to me waving her hand. Pipers dress disappeared and appeared in a package.
"Now, Hermione. Yes... That would do but how about? Oh I got the perfect dress!" She squealed after talking to herself. She snapped her fingers and I was dressed in a gorges pink dress. (Check Hermiones dress on the web). I was speechless. It was so beautiful!
"Yes now, who would like some more tea?" She asked after making my dress appear the way it did for the others. We thanked her but refused politely. Before she left she said
"Oh. Nice meeting you four! I'll see you sooner than you think. And Lilly." She turned to Lilly, "well done in your first task, I would say that your second one will go by easier." She winked and began to glow.
"COVER YOUR EYES." On instinct, I did what Piper yelled.

We finished our day off by walkin around Hogsmaede and only once did we bump into someone we knew - Malfoy. So basically it went down like this.

-not sure what to call it so... Flashback! (I just felt like writing that, enjoy)-

Malfoy approached us with his baboon slaves on either side.
"Mudblood. Fancy seeing you here without Potty and Weasel. And I see you have gathered yourself a girl army. With some very pretty girls at that." I swear is aw him wink at Lilly, who (I swear) I saw blush but quickly put on a pocket face.
"Non of your beeswax Malfoy, just leave us." I said before sending a silent hex at him, making him levitate upside down. It's a handy trick I got out of a book.
"You guys go on ahead, I'll meet up with you in a second at Honeydukes. I just need to teach this brat a lesson." We nodded and walked away to Honeydukes.

"We must never bring Leo here."
"Agreed."
"Why?"
"He goes nuts when he eats candy. He starts setting everything on fire and it's really annoying. We have to chain him down until he's cooled down." Piper explained.

Brief Lilly's pov

"Don't call Hermione that. It's rude and disrespectful." I scolded the up-side down hanging blonde boy.
"But-"
"No buts."
"Fine but only for you." He sighed defeated.
"Good. So about the Yule Ball..." He raised his eyebrow at me, asking me to continue. "Umm... I will go with you but only as friends. Even though you try to redeem yourself I still need more proof that you actually want to be with me and you will stay this time..."
"Listen Li, I don't expect anything more after what I did but know this - if you agree to be mine by the end of this year, I swear that I will spend more time with you but I still have to go to school here. It's important. Now if you could kindly let me down-" I kissed him for a couple seconds.
"Just friends huh?" He teased.
"Yes. That was the last time. I need to get Hermione to let you go. Well, I'll see you in a while."

And if you're asking than yes, Hermione did actually let him down eventually. By eventually I mean after a good 10 minutes of useless persuasion techniques that they thought us at school back in New York.

Back to Hermione's Pov

Back on the bus I began asking the girls questions.
"How did your mum create dresses just like that?" Everyone looked at Piper.
"She works as a fashion designer and is very advanced in magic." Piper said. That seemed reasonable.
"How did your mum teleport us to a tea shop?"
"You mean you've never apparated?" Annabeth looked at me, shocked. I shook my head.
"I know what it is though." I asked a couple more questions and all were answered by the girls. I could tell, by the time they were taking, that they were making some stuff up.

We got to the castle. Strait away I rushed to the dorms while the girls made their way to dinner. I wrote down everything I found out about them and all the lies that they told me on the train. I will have to share it with the boys later.
