Her eyes stayed open, her body was sprawled across the bed, and her hair was a mess. Hours and hours seemed to pass and still no sleep. Thoughts came and went through the young girl's mind, keeping her like a restless ghost while her dreams were tainted with broken memories of her loved one. Nothing would put her mind to ease, and the night went on in pain and despair.

Once the sun began to rise and her body couldn't hold on anymore, her eyes drifted shut, but she wouldn't be asleep for long. Instead, Tidus was at her door way before noon and already knocking.

"Nami? Are you awake? Everything okay?" The little boy pressed his ear to the door to hear what could be on the other side.

"Hmmm....." Naminè was fast asleep after her night of insomnia, but her brother never gave up. Eventually he pick locked the door and came in to shake her awake. "Nami..?"

It seemed to take Tidus a lot more than just shaking his sister, so he thought of a better idea. Instead he went into her bathroom and grabbed a rag, completely soaking it in water. He wrung it out a little bit and than carried the wet cloth over to his sister. While raising it above her head he squeezed the rest of the water out.

Naminè's eyes snapped open and she sat up quickly with her hair sticking straight to her back. "Wha-!" Her bed was now completely soaked including her pillow. "Tidus!"

"I'm sorry! You were sleeping late... So I.. picked the lock. I wanted to make sure you were okay." Tidus put the rag behind his back, trying to get rid of the evidence and looked at the floor to his feet.

"You can't just come in here Tidus! It's about privacy! Now my hair is completely wet thanks to you." Naminè puffed up her cheeks and leaned over her bed to ring out some of the water.

"What is going on in here!" A tall man soon appeared into the doorway. "Tidus what are you doing in here?"

"Well I.. Uh.." Tidus's eyes began to tear up and he ran from the room crying hysterically. "Now you've did it. I just chewed him out cause he breaks into my room. My room! The nerve he has to wake me up but he doesn't just wake me up, he decides to completely drown me in water!"

"It is a quarter till eleven.. I could see his point, but breaking and entering is one thing. I'll have a chat with him." The man grabbed her door and closed it behind him as he left.

"I come out of my room for one day and it seems like I can't sleep in. I hate family." Naminè angrily stood up and proceeded to the bathroom to shower.

By the time she finished up and returned to her room, her phone began to buzz with text messages. Of all people it was Kairi.

"Hey. Boardwalk today, no exceptions. If you opt out, I'm coming over and dragging you from the bed. Got it? Kay."

Her phone buzzed every two minutes to remind her of the messages. "Did I make myself clear? Don't make me do it!"

"Nami. Answer." Naminè got irritated by the last message. When was this woman allowed to run her life? Last time she recalled, Kairi wanted her help, especially with her wedding.

"I got it. I'll be there. That's an hour and half drive but don't worry." No point in arguing with the young lady, she would have her way at some point.

"Okay. Meet us at Drastcos in an hour and we will eat, then head over together. See yah!" Naminè placed her phone down on her desk and rubbed her temples. A huge headache began to form, considering she hadn't had much sleep, and the sudden wake up call was too much for her to bear so early in the morning.
