I had never been to America before as Shane had always come to the UK to visit us. The journey to California was quite something but I was so jet lagged when I arrived. Shane and his girlfriend, Lisa, picked me up from LAX and took me back to their cute little apartment in North Hollywood.

Unicorn, there puppy, greeted us as we walked through the front door. 'Ill take your things through to the office Ebony, that's were you shall be sleeping. Off you get corny' Shane said, alowing unicorn to jump off my suitcase then heaving my suitcase through the lounge and the hallway. 'Thanks Shane' I called after him, as I walked to the office behind him. 'Oh Ebs, you have a formal party dress like I asked you to bring?' Shane asked, turning around and facing me. I nodded. 'Good! Well you know I do YouTube and everything, well Myself and lisa have been invited to go to a YouTube party with all the other Youtubers and we are aloud to bring one guest!' Shane continued. 'What do you say?' I thought long and hard about it for a second. What if i suddenly lost control of myself again and ended up biting someone? No Ebony, don't think like that. Take the opportunity. 'Yeah okay, sounds cool' I responded. 'Okay awesome, it's on Friday so we have a few days to go shopping or whatever' Shane said, smiling at me.

The 5 days up to the party were amazing. Shane and Lisa took me shopping all around LA and to the giant shopping mall. Shane even showed me around Long-beach, where he grew up. When we weren't out and about, all 3 of us watched movies on Netflix and I even appeared in one of his videos and some of his wild, crazy vlogs. But soon enough the day of the party arrived and we spent that day just chilling and getting ready. I had a long warm shower and blow dried my hair straight before curling it. I lifted my dress on and applied a secure amount of makeup to my pale face. My foundation had to be darker so I wouldn't actually look like a vampire, even though I am one.

Then before I knew it we were in Shane's car and on our way to the YouTube Ball.

{apologies for this chapter being so short and boring but I really needed the party to be a separate chapter so I can write lots to it^-^
