Unknown's P.o.V

I didn't know what to think of when I saw her. She was just like before... But her eyes weren't, they changed. They weren't that beautiful dark blue eyes anymore, they were pitch black. As if she didn't have a life anymore. I didn't want to go to her, afraid she wouldn't remember me.

Oh, Raven what happened to you??

Soul's P.o.V

I could feel someone observing us, well everyone was. But I just knew it wasn't some human. Someone 'natural'.

Looking around once more, I saw a slim figure standing behind a tree, it's head was peaking out from behind but I couldn't distingue who. Since he/she was too far away.

I went to walk towards it when a slight pull from the back of my shirt got my attention.

"And where do you think you're going??" Death whispered. I rolled my eyes a bit and smiled down towards her. Examining her face.

She was just like always, white as snow, raven black hair, lips that were red as blood... And her eyes... They were completely black but if you looked close enough you could see specks of blue around her orb.

"I don't know..." I lied, feeling horrible as I did so. I didn't like lying to her. But I was an open book to her, so there wasn't much use.

She frowned and examined my face.

"Your lying." She whispered. Her eyes and tone laced with sadness. I sighed and hugged her, she immediately hugged me back. Making me smile.

I leaned down towards her ear, "I love you, D" I whispered my lips brushing against it. She shivered and smiled, leaning her head on my chest.

Death then whispered, "I love you too." I grinned like a mad man, and hugged her closer to me - if that was even possible - kissing her temple.
