Chapter 9

(Heads up, listen to the song while you read Soul's P.oV)

Death's P.o.V
When I was heading back, I felt a strange feeling in my guts. I don't know why but I started to  speed walk back towards Soul.

I turned in a hall and almost face planted the floor, putting my hands in front of me, I pushed my self up and ran down the hall. My heart beating 100 km/h.

As I reached down the hall, I heard Soul talking to someone.
"Wow, wow, dude calm down... No need to get ma--"

"MAD??!! I'M BEYOND MAD!!! YOU STOLE HER FROM ME!!"
The guy that he was talking to yelled to him, I concentrated on his voice and suddenly it clicked.

Luke.

I ran towards them and saw the scene in front of me, Luke was holding a gun towards Soul, glaring at him while S had his hands up, his eyes wide and staring at the gun.

When Soul's eyes met mine he slightly shook his head, but I didn't respond, I ran right in front of him.

I'm so tiered of being here

BAM...

Soul's P.o.V

Suppressed by all of my childish fears

BAM...

And if you have to leave, I wish that you would just live.

The sound echoed the hallways, everything went silent. I ran towards her as her body started to fall, I grabbed her and slightly shook her. My eyes watering as she didn't move.

Cause your presence still lingers here

"D, c'mon D... Stay with me. Don't sleep, talk to me. Come on..." I whispered to her. She reached up and gently touched my cheek.

And it won't leave me alone.

"I- I..." She tried to talk but ended coughing up blood.

This wounds won't seem to heal

"Sshhhhh, don't talk. You'll be ok, I promise." I whispered, I was about to say something else when her eyes started to close.

This pain is just too real

"No...." I shook her a bit, her eyes almost touching each other. "NO..." I shook her harder and her eyes closed completely. "NO DEATH!!!" I yelled, suddenly someone pulled me back.

There's just too much that time cannot erase

I couldn't hold back anymore. The tears that were in my eyes fell down.

"I couldn't believe that she was gone... After all that we've been through she just can't leave me here... Alone." I thought.

When you cried I'd whipped away all of your tears.

Then I kissed her, wishing that she would open her beautiful eyes and would kiss me back.

When you'd scream I fight away all of your fears

That's when I heard a faint heart beat.

And I held your hand trough all of this years

She's alive

But you still have all... of me

I heard someone whisper behind "No...."

Ireck's P.o.V

BAM....
The sound of the gun shot echoed through the halls, I ran towards the sound.

Stopping as I saw the scene in front of me....

Death was laying limp in Soul's arms, Luke had wide eyes and was slowly backing up.

That's when I saw the gun in his hand.

"You.... Killed her???" I asked. He didn't respond and ran.

I would've ran after him, but something stopped me.

"No.... NO..... NO DEATH!!!" Soul yelled, I sighed and pulled him back.

"No..." I whispered, grabbing her from Soul's arms and slightly shook her.

"Wake up... Wake up..." I whispered, suddenly she was ripped out of my arms.

"What. Do. You. Think. You're. Doing??" Soul asked.

Helping... I thought, I sighed and saw him leaving.

"HEY!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING???" I yelled out after him. He stopped and turned towards me.

"Taking her to the hospital..." He said, I looked at him and scoffed.

"She's dead, gone, lifeless. If you hadn't asked her out she would've been alive." I hissed at him.

"I know I fucked up but she's still breathing, if you shut up you would've been capable of hearing it. So let me take her to the fucking hospital... Now..." He told me, getting up and walked away from me. He held her limp body in such a delicate way.

I hoped for him to stop, for her to wake up and run to me.

But that didn't happen...

Death's P.o.V

The only thing I could feel was Soul's arms under me, I couldn't move or breath....

Shit....

The blackness took over me.
