Chapter 17- A Ferret And His Master

Draco's POV-
Riddle sneers and turns to Harry. "Potter, how... nice to see you again."
Harry started over but I held him back," No Harry. This is my fight."
"Draco, my boy. How are you? Have you come to bow at my feet as you once did?" Voldemort said.
"Never again. You are a monster. I might have been scared of you once but now you will die by my hand," I said to him calmly.
He started laughing hysterically, "Even with your features as different as they are I can recognize you for the coward you've always been, you even have a mark to prove it."
"No I don't."
"What do you mean? The only way you could've gotten rid of it is if you chopped off your arm, which we can see you still have."
"I don't have it and I still have all my body limbs. See," I said pulling up my sleeve and baring my arm for all the see.
"How?"
"My brother and I know a very powerful demigod," I said winking at Paige. (Whose still here those of you who forgot.)
Voldemort was fuming, "You can die now traitor," that's when he threw the first spell. I quickly dodged and returned the favor. We kept dodging them, or blocking if they could be blocked. We went on for what felt like hours. At some point he pulled out a sword. "I heard your good, let's see how you fare against me!" He swung, and I quickly twisted my ring and blocked. We then continued to battle. We used our swords and spells. He blocked a spell I shot at him and got in close and my sword went straight threw him. After that we were in a kind of embrace.
I leaned towards his ear and whispered, "You have no hold on me," and as his last breath left him I pulled my sword and let his body crumple to the ground.
Those around me stood shocked for a second. Then I looked at Voldemort's body and watched as it slowly decayed into a dust similar to that of the monsters that hunted us but black. Then the dust caught fire and burned to ashes. After that the ashes were pulled into the earth.
"It's over," I whispered, as everyone started to celebrate.
"In my experience, it never ends," Percy said, with his arm slung over Nico. "Come on, let's join the celebration."
"Ok," I said and we walked to the crowd.
