It was one of two people to answer Gus or Burnie I really hoped it was Burnie cus Gus would just hang up on me I shoved the last bit of my sandwich in and all I heard was a laugh thank goodness it was Burnie was my only thought I gulped the last of my sandwich down I then went to apologise but then realised it was in fact Gus
"Oh I am so sorry... I... I..." I stuttered
"It's no problem I'm sorry I caught you in the middle of your lunch" he gave a smile
"That's my fault I was being disorganised... Which I am not normally... this is not a good start to an interview sorry."
He just laughed "well let's start the interview here instead. Hello my name is Gustavo Sorola but please just call me Gus I am a co-founder and co-head of the Rooster Teeth cooperation" he suddenly became very formal
"Thank you for taking the time and having this interview with me. My name is Katie fields I have just graduated university with a game music composition degree I am now looking to get experience within the gaming community," I just realised I was in my sweats but I was talking very formally
"So what makes you think Rooster Teeth is the right place for you?" Shit... the dreaded question
"Well I believe very strongly that Rooster Teeth has one of the best environments to work in where day in day out you have fun with friends but you get work done and you love what you are doing and that compared to a faceless cooperation who has no respect nor time for me that is why I think Rooster Teeth is the place for me plus I have always watched you guys so yea..." I had no control over that I just said it but I am happy I said it!
"Nice answer" he said as he began to write some notes he asked loads more questions and wrote more and more notes then finally he said "One last question how are you planning on staying over here?" To be honest I have no clue
"I hope to get a part time job but I have a friend over there that is willing to share an apartment with me," he nodded an wrote it down
"That's good we don't like making our interns live alone but I will leave you to your lunch we will get in touch"
"Thank you again and goodbye" he hung up I slumped on the sofa next thing I knew my roommate opened the door holding out a present for me I dread to think what it was
