Comment, and I may incorporate some of it into the story! (Lol not that anyone reads this) Love you guys!!! I apologize for any grammatical errors, I completed this by the light of the moon (lol)! Ren was gripping my arms, and it hurt.

Golden eyes.

Smoke.

Darkness.

'Goooooood morning! Another cold day here in New York! 32 degrees with a 45% chance of snow! Dress warm folks, its brutal out th-'

I slap my hand down on my alarm clock and rub my eyes with a yawn. It was only a dream, but it felt so real. I then remember my embarrassing encounter with my ex yesterday.

"Fuck." I look out the window next to my bed and sigh. I never made it to dinner last night with Robbie and my parents.

"Fuck...again." Mom probably told Robbie what happened between me and Ren.

Out of everyone that found out, my mother was probably the most heart broken. She was already planning out a wedding and 'grandbaby' middle names. I told her Ren and I broke up because of work, because I knew if she knew the truth she would attempt murder.

I reach over and unplug my phone from the charger on my beside table and peer at my notifications. I guess I was right.

Robbie sent me a series of texts, voice mails, and missed calls. He is either guilty as hell or angry as hell, and neither one of those is pleasant. I decide the best way to respond would be in person. I text him the address to a burger spot near my job, and tell him to meet me there for lunch.

Getting up out of bed and stretching my back, I mentally prepare myself for another emotionally trying day.

I stare at the sprawled figure on my couch and silently scoff. After cussing me out, challenging me to a 'duel', and dissing my mother, the guy is here sleeping like a baby in MY house.

I walk over to my desk and pick up the folders for the Newman agreement. After tucking them safely into my briefcase I grab my coffee thermos off the kitchen counter in one fluid movement. I glance at the sleeping asshole once more, and then close the door behind me with a 'click'.

"Hello?"

'Hello Mr.Lee, I am calling to confirm the invoice sent to you by Freedman Construction. I heard you had some points you wanted to go over?'

I was hardly listening to the woman's smooth voice on the other line as I sorted through my desk angrily.

"Ah, yes. Please hold one moment."

I placed the representative on hold, and yelled for my secretary.

"Yes sir?" The petite Asian stood in my doorway with a wary look in her eyes.

"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT I WANT CURRENT VENDOR CONTRACTS ON MY DESK EVERY MORNING?"

The girl flinches at my tone and apologizes.
