"Juliana how many times do I have to tell you that this instrument is not for you to play with." Pablo said to Juliana who's trumpet was on her head.
"Juliana get your shit together we have a show in like two hours." Salma said, packing up the last of their instruments. It was a big show for them tonight. They were expected to perform at one of San Antonio's most prestigious band concerts.
"Yeah okay I'm done," Juliana said lying the trumpet in its proper case, "I'll come back to you, sweet trumpet."
They were just about to get into their car when Salma needed to check the mail. She was expecting a letter from a band director from Ohio. She opened the mail box, allowing tons and tons of glitter to fall out onto the street.
"What the hell is this shit?"
She looked into the mail box and saw the cause of the glittery avalanche.
"Look at this," Salma said to Pablo as she sat in the passenger seat, showing him the card Tyrell made, "What do we do with it? We obviously can't go. Do I pretend I didn't read it?"
"Well we don't really don't have that much time to think about it we have a tight schedule Salami." Pablo said pointing to his imaginary watch.
Salma threw the card in the back seat and tried to focus on other things. Like band.

They entered the stage and allowed the audience to applaud before them and 30 other orchestra and band players started a beautiful symphony. The lights went dim and everyone was silent. Salma lifted her arms, beginning to conduct her--
"SALMA HI HEY SALMA LOOK I MADE IT IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU," Tyrell was waving a jumping frantically trying to get her attention, Kierstin and Matthew covered his mouth and pulled him down to his seat.
"What the hell do you think you're doing. She's fucking performing!" Kierstin whispered, "what makes you think we can--"
The audience shushed them and booed, while two big security guards came to escort them out. Kierstin resisted but saw a cute boy and got distracted, trying to seem calm and collected. Matthew held his arms out as though he knew this would happen. Tyrell looked back at Salma, Pablo, and Juliana waiting for them to stop performing. They didn't.
"Look what you did?" Kierstin screamed, they were outside next to Tyrell's van, "we try to surprise them and be supportive friends and easily invite them to a simple family Christmas celebration, but nO You had to ruin it and yap your big mouth. And get us kicked out IN FRONT OF A CUTE BOY!"
"Kierstin calm down." Salma said.
"one second Salma, I'm chewing out Tyrell. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING--"
"Kristy shut the fuck up." Pablo said.
"Pablo I don't have time for your-- PABLO, SALMA, JULIANA!!"
They all hugged and laughed for like two seconds when Matthew asked, "wait how the hell are you guys here and not performing."
"Matthew I'm like the most important conductor in all of San Antonio, they can't get rid of me, I just stopped the performance and told them I was sick, these bitches believe everything." Salma said.
"Well good thing you guys are here, because we were just about to go get everyone else." Tyrell said leaning in his old beat-up, multi-colored, hippie van. "In good old Penny right here."
"Who are we getting next?" Juliana asked, "because there are a few people I'd rather not see."
"That's the whole purpose of this trip." Matthew said.
