awkward.

Love Hurts

I wake up its 11 o clock.. My eyes are red.. and swollen a little.. I put a hot towel on my face and some of my curls fall down.. I sit down and look at my phone 10 missed calls . 5 from Tyler 3 from Syd and 2 from an unknown number.. I don't want to talk to anybody.. I cut my phone off and just lay in the bed.. till about 12:30... I try not to cry anymore but i think about how much i was falling for tyler.. I started to imagine a future with him..I thought it was really something...Why do i fall so quickly..

I get up and go into my empty rehearsal room.. grab my beats pill .. and play some music.. I practice for the recital.. I put on my ballet shoes and some shorts Practice my moves and do splits.. I have the leading spot.. I practice and everything exactly how i want it.. I decide to to call my ballet coach.. I pick up the phone and she says 'hello its Dianne ' I say 'hey dianne I wanted - ' She cuts me off' everything okay baby girl?' I say ' it will be..' She says ' you don't have to come to practice today its gonna just be mostly for the girls behind you..' I say ' okay.. thanks..' She says '.. but remember you need to be here Friday at 5 for a quick run through of your number and the recital is Saturday at 10.' I say ' ok thanks' She says 'feel better baby girl..' I Say ' i will..'

I hang up and decide to take down my locs and wash my hair i finish up as the door opens downstairs.. My mom.. says ' DYLAN!!im home ...' I take off my ballet shoes and put on some my nike flip flops . I walk downstairs and she says ' I'm making burritos , quesadillas and tacos.. and Im making you pineapple juice..' I say ' thanks mom..' She says 'no problem..you feeling any better?' I say '.. yeah..a little.. My face time rings .. I sigh she says ' hear him out..' I ..say ' okay..' I pick it up and say' hey..' He says ' Baby are you okay?? I didn't hear from you last night or anything..' I walk over to the couched say ' Tyler.. I don't know what was going on.. but some way you butt dialed me or something and i heard Jasper talking about the dare..' He looks shocked but upset.. He says ' I... okay.. look hear me out that night when you got up and did your poetry.. I .. man i realized how amazing you were .. you looked beautiful and you knew what to say to hit emotions.. I was feeling you and Jasper dared me to.. take you out... I .. broke it off.. right after our date.. I didn't know you would mean that much to me..'

I can't help but stare at the screen.. I say ' okay..' He says ' look are you coming tomorrow?' I say 'yeah..' He says ' okay.. i love you..' I say ' i love you too' We hang up.. I eat dinner and take a hot shower.. I pick out my outfit...for tomorrow really simple.. I lay down and head to sleep.

-Next Day-

I wake up feeling pretty good surprisingly.. I put on a crop halter tank , jeans and a bomber jacket.. I put my curls up in a pineapple... and put on some dark red lipstick .. I called Syd to come pick me up since my mom needs her car.. I hear her honk the horn. Grab my backpack and kiss my moms cheek.. I get in and she smiles 'how you feeling?' I say ' pretty good surprisingly.. thanks for picking me up.. ' She says 'no problem its on the way.. She starts driving and we talk about everything she's really pretty cool. She starts singing along with the radio.. I say ' your voice is fucking beautiful..' She laughs 'thanks..' I smile 'no problem..' We make it to school she says ' if you need me to take you home just let me know.' I say ' okay ' thanks..'

We walk in school and go to the auditorium for morning meeting.. We go sit down.. Tyler stands up and we hug each other for a while.. We sit down he says ' you still upset?' I say ' i wasn't upset i was disappointed.. but no i feel better..' He says ' i love your hair..' I laugh ' .. thanks..' He says ' I brought you something ' I say ' okay..' He hands me a gift bag I open it and its a teddy bear , chocolate , roses and a sweatshirt he made me... I smile ' thanks..' He says ' no problem you like the sweater?' I smile ' yeah.. yeah its nice..' He says ' i was gonna save it for later but..' I smile ' thanks..' He kisses my cheek..

I put my stuff back in the bag.. He says ' I'm gonna ride with Jasper today and talk it out with him. I say ' okay.. ' He says ' my cars about to be out the shop!..' I laugh ' cool i haven't seen it..' He says ' its nothing special just a beamer ..' I say ' cool..' We go our separate ways.. and the day goes pretty smooth we're in last period the teacher says ' Group project you and other students have to produce something music related by the 10th of next month and be ready to present. It can be a song ,a product, anything.. but i need to know who your working with..today so get to it..' Me and Syd decide to work together.. we start writing some stuff we decided to do a song and a music video..

She laughs ' you sing any?' I say ' yeah a little here and there..' She smiles ' let me her you..' I laugh ' later.. could you take me home?' She says ' yeah sure..' We work on something and head outside ..We drive to my place.. I say ' you wanna come in?' She says ' sure..' I say ' i want you to listen to something i was working on..' She comes in and i grab my macbook and pull up this instrumental was working on..' She says ' thats good..' I say 'i think you and your band could really do something with it..' She laughs ' really?!' I laugh ' yeah..ill send it to you..' She smiles ' cool..' I send it to her and she says '.. thanks.. so much..' I laugh ' no problem'

She says ' well i should get going before my ma calls me..' I laugh ' i understand' I walk her to the door and give her a hug.. 'thanks for listening to my shit earlier' She hugs me tightly ' no problem girl...' I laugh ..'ay .. I'm sorry about how i blew up at you about the whole hand touching thing..' She says ' i was out of line.. I just.. your beautiful girl. I didn't know how to express my feelings..' I say ' thanks.. and yeah.. I just didn't really know you yet you know.. ' She laughs ' yeah i know..' I say ' see you tomorrow.' She smiles ' okay..'

Later on the doorbell rings I open it and its T.. I say 'hey ... ' He comes in 'whats up....i talked to j .. he'll get out his feelings..' I laugh' ...yea...' Tyler smiles' you think your mom can drop me off when she gets back? ' I say 'yeah.. sure ' We chill on the couch.. He says' where's the bathroom babe...'

I say 'follow me..' We walk up the stairs .. I turn the light on.. and turn around hes right in front of me.. I smile' voila ..' He chuckles' thanks ma..ay.. I..never mind..'

(Tylers Pov )
Just fucking say it ..say it.. I look at Dylan..' im really crazy about you..' I say.. She smiles' im crazy about you too..' I say 'i love you..im in love with you..' She says 'i love you too.. im in love with you too babe..'i say 'Dylan. Honestly.. your like perfect for me.. ' She smiles and blushes ..'thanks lil boy..'

I go in the bathroom and try to think of how i wanna do this.. I wanna take her out again but like.. i don't know where.. Shes way to pretty to take skating i don't even know if shes into that..

I leave out of the bathroom and notice she's in her room.. I stand in the doorway and shes dancing to some Spanish song.. I laugh' she says 'Tyler i didn't know you were in here. ' I smile' yeah.. i wanna take you out... im getting my car this weekend.. where you wanna go? ' She says '.. road trip ?.. to like southern cali .. nothing big.. i honestly would be satisfied just laying around the house with you..'

I smile "okay.. ill plan something.. really ?' She says 'yeah T..just being with you can make my worst day my best.. 'I smile and walk over to her i lean down a little and kiss her softly.. She smiles wnd kisses me back ... She wraps her arms around my shoulders.. I hold her waist.. She walks back stumbling over things..

We pull away.. i Just look at her.. damn.. my girl.. Dylan.. her beauty is indescribable.. i might really be in love.
