awkward.

Curse I.

"No!!!' I look at my mom as she basically screams at me.. I say ' mom.. i told him no .. i was just bringing it up with you..' She says ' you need to enjoy your child hood before you go off to college your not moving in with him and thats final' I look at her.. she seems to be steaming upset .. I say ' why are you so upset ..we usually can talk about stuff like this..' she says ' I just don't want you moving in with him..' I say 'okay..' She says 'okay.' I say 'okay I'm gonna juts go upstairs..'

I walk upstairs...' My phone rings ... I pick it up 'hey..' Tyler says 'whats up ma' I say '..my mom just popped off on me.. for some reason..'He says 'what were y'all talking about' I say ' me moving in with you after graduation..she like real deal just yelled at me...' He says '..you didn't have to bring it up to her..'I say ' just you got all defensive i didn't wanna just ignore it..'He says ' baby.. i was just being an asshole as usual..' I sigh ' okay...' He says ' go talk to your ma..' I say ' okay' We hang up i clean myself up and put on a t-shirt..' I say ' mom...' She says ' yeah.. look I'm sorry about earlier i've just been under so much pressure at work..'I say ' its okay..just get some rest...' She says ' love you..' I say ' love you too..' I walk out of the room and lay in my bed..ugh i wish i didn't have school tomorrow.. I fall asleep.

-Next Day-

I put on one of Tyler's hoodies and some jeans I put on some vans..I put my hair up in a messy bun. I put on a little lipstick. I walk outside and see Tyler's beamer.. I laugh ' you driving me ?' He laughs ' yeah your ma left early and ... i passed her on the way' I smile 'okay..' He says ' you look nice in my jacket' I laugh ' yasss i try..' We get in his car and he heads to the school.. He laughs ' we could skip.. but i know your not down...' I laugh ' hell no cause if my ma sees me I'm dead' He chuckles and parks. We get out the car and go in.. I scan my id and we get in.. We walk in and he walks me to my class and kisses my cheek ' see you later ..you got practice today?' I say 'yeah dance.. tryouts today' He smiles 'okay...what time is it over?' I say '5' He smiles 'okay see you'

The dance season for my ballet group is over with for the older kids and now its the junior ballet season so I decided to try out for the majorette team..Tyler encouraged me to go for it. I take a seat and my teacher smiles ' good morning dylan .' I smile 'morning' She says 'so your trying out for the majorette team its been around the school' I laugh ' yea..' She says 'good luck beautiful..' I laugh' thanks'

-After School-

I go into the bathroom and i change into a my black nike leggings ,white polo t-shirt and my black and white nikes. I leave my hair up and grab my backpack with my clothes in it. I walk out and go outside to the gym. I get a text from Tyler ' see you at 5 have fun' I reply ' thanks babe' I walk in and sit my bag down. I hear the coach ' everybody we're going to stretch here first and then run 3 laps around the track outside once you finish...Raye is gonna lead the stretches' I walk over towards the front and we do our stretches.. Raye says ' outside !! grab your jackets if you need them.. ' I put on tyler pull over and head outside I start my three laps and go up the hill I'm like the 3rd or 4th person in the front. I finish Raye smiles ' good job you can go back in the gym ' I go back in and see another girl she smiles ' I'm Lilly the your apart of the first 5 so you guys will be trying out together can i have you name' I smile ' I'm Dylan ' She rights my name down and says 'okay come over here I'm gonna be over you guys' group.. I smile 'okay' She says ' okay well i need 2 in the front 3 in the back..' Everybody mostly heads for the back so i get in the front.

We start practicing a little and its easy. Everybody's in here practicing now. She says 'okay everybody else sit down Dylan i wanna see some stunts ..' I laugh ' okay ..anything ?' She says ' yeah ' splits flips anything..' I say 'okay..' she says 'everybody move behind me a little so you won't get kicked..' Walk back a little and do two cartwheels into a backflip and I do a back bend into a split lastly I do a heel stretch into a split.' She smiles 'amazing .. can you do toe touches' I laugh 'yeah' I do a toe touch and a high kick.. She smiles ' amazing..wow' Everybody else goes our group is actually pretty good.

We have a quick meeting and leave out.. I feel two arms wrap around my waist.. I turn and see Tyler I laugh ' hey..' He says ' man you did pretty good I caught y'all last part' I smile ' thanks.' He says '...got any plans Friday?' I say ' nope whats up?' He says ' ohh you know i got you these - pulls out some tickets-' I smile 'oh my God!!! pharrell... oh my god tyler ' He laughs ' you excited!!' I smile ' yes...this is amazing.' He smiles '' glad your excited the show is in San Bernardino we can drive out after school around 4 and make it there about 520ish and get some food and go to the concert.' I smile 'sounds amazing they're gonna announce who made the team friday too since we're only learning a one routine and stands..' He smiles ' okay..'

We pull into my driveway he walks me to the door and I give him a hug ' see you later' He smiles 'see you later beautiful..' I go in the house and my mom says' how was practice?' I say ' really fun..' She smiles 'cool..go freshen up and come back and eat dinner'

-Thursday-

Its after school.. They did a open try out so they could see how we would react to being in front of a crowd. We all have on white shirts and black leggings. I have on a short sleeved shirt and black capri leggings with my running shoes. They call my group up.. Im in the front along with another girl.. The head girl Raye says ' 5 6 5 6 7 8 ' She introduces it and then we follow behind her we finish up and she says ' now each girl will introduce themselves after me' She smiles' Im Raye and I will be doing a flip into a split and a heel stretch' She does it and I walk up ' hi I'm Dylan and will be doing 2 cart wheels into 3 backflips a split and a death drop..' I move back and do my stunts and they clap.Afterwards Tylers walking with me to his car he says ' you did great ' I smile ' thanks ..' We go back to my place and he comes in we eat some pizza and talk with my mom..

- Friday-

We're in last period and they announce 'we present to you the 2015-16 Lady Cubs ' The list goes on and on and I don't hear my name.. They go on to alternates and still no me..well then Syd leans over and whispers ' you okay?' I sigh ' yeah I'm okay..' She says ' you sure?' I say 'yeah..I'm okay' The door opens and I see Tyler he says ' excuse me can i talk to Dylan??' The teacher smiles 'yeah sure..' I stand up and walk out . Tyler says ' you okay baby?' I say ' yeah...im fine.. disappointed but I'm fine' He says' you did great you know that right ' I say ' yeah.. thanks' He says 'you did and I was gonna wait to tell you this but i feel like its the perfect time ..I talked with the manager and he said he could get us backstage he's one of clancy's old friends' I smile ' okay.. thats cool' He says ' cheer up..' I say ' i will.. see you later' He kisses my cheek...' I go back in the room and sit down.

We listen to some music and analyze it the bell rings I grab my backpack and my jacket. Me and syd walk outside together..I wait for tyler and here one of my classmates playing Travis Scott. I sing along He chuckles ' you listen to him too?' I say 'yasss' He turns it up and we dance to it . Its his song 'Maria Let's Get Drunk ' Some of our classmates record us .. we laugh and dance I rap along word for word. Tyler, Taco ,Jasper , Syd all walk over and join in we dance together '
