*max's POV*-1 hour later- (just like crystal)
I sat in my bed after a long shower, just thinking about what I always think about. Her... 'Ugh I gotta stop thinking about her but i just can't, because of the reasons i said earlier. She is my definition of perfection. but also.... i-i hurt her too much... it's just too hard for me right now. i just have to... for her sake'
I decided to put some clothes on and take a walk in the park to clear my mind. My mom's working at the moment so I just go downstairs quietly, checking my pockets. once i made sure i got everything i went outside while locking the door behind me.
I decided to walk the longer way to the park, to just clear my mind. ugh... i'm thinking too much this is not healthy for me. the air started blowing harder and it got kinda colder. but i didn't care... this is a way to release my stress.
After a while of walking down the street, i started hearing some weird noises nearby and decided to check it out. i saw a figure trying to get through the window which i am guessing it's his/her room. as i got closer i was able to see a little better because of the street lights and the moon.
Then I saw her. Falling. Then on the ground. Not moving. I ran to her as fast as I could my heart beating faster then a cheetah could run, then checked if she was breathing. *sigh* she is...
I took in my arms then continued the way I was. Because it was a faster way to the hospital. I also took a big bag that i saw earlier fell with her and quickly started walking as fast as i could. fuck... what the heck was happening there!? she could be dead by now! just thinking about that... made my heart beat faster.
i don't want her to die like this.
*crystal's POV*
I woke up to somebody talking by my side. "ugh... where am I...?" I said weakly. Sarah came in and I smiled weakly. she looked like she hasn't slept in a while. weird... she loves to sleep!
"thank god!!! I though you weren't going to wake up!!" the one that was by my side said. I looked and my eyes widened.' what is he doing here!!?'
"he heard your step-dad shouting and saw you fall from the window... your dad got arrested... i told them everything! i couldn't see you and your mom suffer any longer" she said between sobs. why is she crying so much! i just fell off and nothing more... but was it really that bad?
"aw! thank you so much! this is why i feel lucky to have you!" i said starting to cry. "and... t-thank you max. i don't know why you did it... you could've just let me there stay to di-" he caught me off guard by putting his hand on mine. i blushed a little but decided to ignore it.
"no need to say thank you..." he said with a sad smile. "I hurt you a lot in middle school and I didn't even know what I was doing back there... I still owe you for what I did... Will you f-forgive me?" he stuttered a little bit trying not to cry. my mom and I were saved! i can't believe it! but i never expected to be saved by no other than the guy I 'hated' the most.
I didn't say anything. I was to shocked and didn't have words. His lips quivered a little bit. Aww! he looks so cu- no no no what am i thinking! i can't say that! but he saved me... he deserves a chance to prove that he is indeed a man.
He looked at me and got sadder. He was about to get up and leave when I stopped him."don't leave! I forgive you! I'm sorry for acting like an idiot before, I though you were the same as in middle school..." I told him and smiled.
He smiles back. 'awwwe He looks so adorab- wait what am I thinking!!? i keep getting this thoughts! i gotta stop them. Crystal I swear ima beat you up... If that's possible!'
"don't apologize! ... It's not your fault" he took my hand, "i only want to ask you one thing that's been on my mind this passed days... Can we be friends?"
