Chapter 12: Caeden

  Caeden's P.O.V

"Dad! I said no okay no means no why don't you get that!?"I yell at my dad because I said I wouldn't loan him any money so he could go get drunk at a bar.
"God dammit Caeden just give me the money already"He yelled out grabbing his shotgun.
"Dad, put the gun down! Or i"-i-i'll make you pay for what you've done to me"I say not wanting to do what I was fixing to do
"BANG"the bullet went straight into his left shoulder I told him that I was sorry then I ran and I ran until I didn't recognize anything.
I'm just happy that I grabbed all the cash before we got in the fight, so now I can at least buy me a car or a motorcycle.Okay so let's go buy me a Harley Davidson.
"I'll take this one sir"I say pointing to a black Harley with flames painted on the sides.
"Okay one moment please"says the shop dude.
I am loving this bike I think while driving on the New Jersey highway, and no I have no clue where i'm going.But that doesn't matter because i'm away from that drunken little jerk.How could my mom handle him sure he could be nice when he wasn't drunk, but he still shouldn't have been able to do all that after mom died.
"Yes, can I have a Mcdouble with a side of large fries and a large Dr. Pepper"I say into the intercom at a McDonald's.
'Okay that will be $4.82"said the intercom. Ahhh I say taking a massive bite out of the burger oh and if you're wondering I stopped at a little park to eat.
"Um hi can I ask you a few questions?"asked a girl with short choppy black hair who looked like she was 17 or 18
"Umm I guess so"I reply taking a drink from my Dr. Pepper.
"Do you happen to be dyslexic?"she asks
"Yes, and why would that be any of your business "I snapped back at her
"Sorry it's just"She stutters
"No, it's not your fault i'm just grumpy"i say back trying to apologize
"Okay you don't have to answer this but is your name Caeden"She asks
"Yes, yes it is. Why"I say backs
"Okay come with me then"She demanded
"O--kay"I reply grabbing my helmet and drink
So it turns out her name was Thalia and we have a long drive to Long Island South.Right now she's on the back of my bike telling me where to go.She told me stories about her little brother Jason like when he tried to eat a stapler and how they got reunited after he got taken from her.
Right now we have about 6 more hours till we get there and I am literally about to pass out. She's still is pretty energized and talkative.We've passed a lot of hotels so that really isn't helping me especially since i'm driving in the middle of the night.
6 Hours Later
"Thalia we're here come on wake up"I say shaking her
"What we're at Camp Half-Blood?"she said half asleep
"What's Camp Half-Blood?"I ask suspiciously
"What! Nothing it's nothing!!"she says like she wasn't supposed to
So after that we got a hotel room and had a small meal then we went to sleep.So we just woke up and we're getting some breakfast then we're driving again.Thalia got some blueberry pancakes and I got a omelet (which was awesome).So now we're heading toward this Camp Half-Blood.
We've stopped about 3 times because Thalia said she thought she saw someone following us I tried telling her she was just hallucinating but she didn't listen.Oh and about three guys tried to steal my bike, so I had to beat up a couple of them,so lets hope no one saw that.Okay so we got lost and i'm in some weird statue store called Aunty Em's Thalia said we should just go somewhere else.
"Hello, is anybody here?"I call out hoping there's a employee in here
"Hello dear where's your parents ?"A lady ask in a weird voice that sounds like a snake would say it
"There in the car m'am but I came to ask for some directions"I say back hoping Thalia would come in to help me
"Oh poor child you look so tired come come and get some rest"she says trying to lure me into going into the back
"Caeden RUN!"Thalia says running in
"What"I say looking behind me and seeing the lady with a knife
"LETS GO!"I yell to Thalia
We started running when I heard snakes Thalia told me not to look back or else I would turn to stone.We finally made it out and Thalia said she needed to tell me something important.
"Okay so what did you want to tell me?"I ask
"Okay so this might be a lot to take in but you're a demigod"She says really quickly
"What the fuck is that"I say to Thalia
"It's the product of a god for example zeus has a child with a mortal or in this case a human"She says
"So i'm a mistake"I say
"Nooooo"She said
Okay so after that we just drove until I saw a forest.I also asked Thalia if she knew my dad was and she said she probably does she just doesn't know he's my dad.
"Turn right up here Caeden"She told me
"Alrighty"I say back turning on a dirt road
"We're here"She said looking at a pine tree
"Here?The pine tree is Camp Half-Blood"I ask her
"No,next to the pine tree is a arch"She replied
"Okay let's go"I say as I start walking toward the pine tree
We're walking towards the arch and pine tree right now and all of a sudden I hear Thalia whisper something to herself.
"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood Caeden "she says leading me into the arch.
