Jay

I felt like trash. I just confessed my true feelings, which I've never done before, to someone whom might not even feel the same way. I saw her with a worried look in her eyes as she splashed water around with guys. She was turning them on without even knowing. Guys would be very playful with her, picking her up and tossing her into the water. She was adorably an idiot. She drove me madly in love.

What did she think she was doing? God she thought she knew so much about everything. I'd pick her up on the street and she was like gum on my shoe.

I felt this feeling crawling up on my chest and I felt as if I couldn't breath.

There she was, splattering the water around with some drunk college kids. The feeling was getting worse. I hated this. Why would she give these guys all the attention and wouldn't even give me a glance?

She looked beautiful. Her beautiful blonde hair, now wet, framing her golden skin, her shimmering brown eyes that would send chills down any guy's back, and her black lingerie contrasting against her olive skin.

Slowly and kindly, I started to unravel myself by the pool of girls warming around me. None of them were anything like Alexis.

I started making my way, storming my way to the girl of my dreams. The warm sand splattered around when my feet kicked down on it. I was so distracted on Alexis that I didn't see the gigantic log in front of me.

All I saw was a bright, white light.

Alexis

Jay seemed distracted with his "friends" but suddenly I saw him start marching my way. He looked great and my cheeks were getting hot. I was distracted by his presence, which demanded attention, that I didn't realize the guys around me. Someone had touched my butt, shaking me out of my thought. There was slapping going on, and when I turned back around, there was Jay. Over the log, laying on the floor with his eyes shut, over the log. Had he had a concussion?

I ran out of the ocean to go see what was wrong.

"Jay! Jay! Jay!!" I called out.

As soon as I was by his side, I knelt down.

"Jay?"

He wasn't answering. His chest was moving slowly. Good. He was alive.

"Jay! Jay! Please answer! Do you hear me?"

My hands framed his face and my eyes filled with worry. His eyes were shut.

When I looked up, I saw a crowd had joined us.

Someone was already calling the hospital and I could hear the sirens on their way. They were quick and always there ready to serve. Just like Jay. He was always there for me whenever I needed him. My parents weren't like this. No one I knew was like this. No one but Jay.
