"Right then!" The Doctor shouted whilst he flicked another switch. "Hucato! Lovely place. No inhabitants and home to 250 species of the most beautiful flowers you've ever seen!" He looked at Rose with that wild look in his eyes and his mouth sitting in that oh so perfect smile of his. He looked at Rose like she looked at him. As though they were wondering how life was ever bearable before they met each other. Rose took his hand and he led her to the doors "close your eyes " whispered the doctor and Rose did just that. She heard that squeaking sound the Tardis makes when the door opens and instantly her nostril were invaded with 50 different scents each one more beautiful than the next. With the doctors words she opened her eyes and saw herself surrounded by an abyss of abstract agriculture. Vines climbing trees that sprouted so many flowers there was scarce any leaves showing. Each area of land was swallowed up by something beautiful and new. The sky was as though someone had taken all the colours of the rainbow and scattered them across the clouds and the air tasted sweet.
The doctor placed a hand on her shoulder and inhaled deeply as though with pride.
"So...As garden of Eden's go. This is pretty much spot on," said Rose
"well strictly speaking this is the prototype of eden but-Hang on." The doctor stopped and strode over to a certain tree with flowers that had small diamonds on each petal, and tore off a piece of bark. 'Here we go' thought Rose sighing. Another trip turned into a rescue mission.
The doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and inspected the tree. The inside was filled with neon blue wires and lights that twinkled like a city at night-time.
"This technology is man made," announced the doctor looking at Rose with a furrow of his brow. "this shouldn't be here for at least 200,000 years!" Suddenly a loud hiss erupted from around a corner and the doctor darted after it. Rose would have followed if not for the sound of someone walking coming from behind her.
"Hello?" She called following the sound. She was lead to an archway of what looked like roses except for their petals having bright green spikes on their edge. Rose stopped under the archway. A decision that would change her and the doctor's fate.
"Where did you g-!" Rose was cut-off as a whoosh of green gas was sprayed from the rose buds into her face her lungs burned. Her eyes felt as though needles had sunk in them and she fell to the ground breathless.
