I decided, if Harry is trying to get me jealous, that I WILL rub it in his face that I'm single. I grabbed my phone off of my bedside table and texted him. I'll tell him in person.
Me: Hey, I have something to tell you. Want to hang out this morning at my place?
Harry: Sure
Me: Be here in 20 minutes
Harry: K
Good, that gives me enough time to get ready. I run into my closet to pick out my outfit. Since its raining today, I grab a pair of my salt and pepper Roots pants and a white baseball tee. I hop into the shower, wash my hair and body, shave my legs, and hop out. I decide to put my hair in a high ponytail. After blow drying it straight, and touching up with a flat iron, I throw it in a high ponytail. I quickly pull on my clothes, and clean up my place a little. There is a knock on my door right after I cleaned up my kitchen. I walk over, and for some reason I'm nervous. I open it to reveal Harry. And a gorgeous model named Lilly Shirley. I just stare at Harry for a minute then finally step aside to let them in.
"Hi Harry and..."
"Lilly. Harry's new girlfriend."
"Oh. Hi."
Harry studies my reaction and I smirk at him.
"What are you doing, Styles."
"You seem happier then usual."
Really, I do? This is a perfect way to tell him.
"Oh, I just caught my, now ex, boyfriend cheating on me. So I'm finally single. Do you think Liam would be interested?"
"Wh-What? Y-Your single?"
"And ready to mingle."
"Oh. That's cool."
"Yeah. It is. I was with Liam yesterday, I think I might ask him out."
"Oh r-really?"
"Yeah."
Harry now looked extremely uncomfortable. Maybe he was up to something? Out of nowhere, Lilly speaks.
"So, what are we going to do?"
"Oh. Yeah. You guys want a drink? I have Coke, Pepsi, fruit punch, and water."
At the same time, Harry says "Pepsi!" while Lilly said, "Coke."
Uh oh. "You like coke? What are you a fan of The Unwanted?"
"Who likes pepsi? It's just a disgusting failed copy of coke!"
"Pepsi was there first!"
"No!"
I just look back and forth at the arguing couple and slowly back into my kitchen. After getting two Pepsi's and one coke, I walk back into my family room to find them making out on my couch. I just stand there, shocked. A lump rises to the back of my throat, and I quickly try to swallow it. Hot tear prickle in my eyes. Oh gosh, don't cry. Do not cry. And there goes one tear. I silently back into the kitchen again, and wash my face. Good thing I didn't wear make up. After drying off my face I more confidently walk into the family room and clear my throat.
"As fun as it seems, this happens to be my apartment, and I do not enjoy being a third wheel, considering I invited Harry over. Thank you." They separate and Harry gives me a smug look while Lilly says, "I'm sorry."
"It's okay. At least you have manners, unlike some people. Cough cough Harry." She laughs. Well I'd rather have her dating Harry then some Barbie like Emma. I sit down beside her, and turn on the TV. I switch it to the movie channel.
"What movie do you want to watch?"
Lilly speaks first. "How about Safe Haven? It was apparently better then The Notebook!"
"Great!"
I switch it to Safe Haven before Harry could speak. He scowls at me, and I ignore it knowing I might burst into tears. It's weird, I've never been emotional like this before. I watch the movie, shedding a few tears now and then. It's sad, what that girl had to go through in order to find her love. It almost reminds me of my life. Except Lilly isn't dead.
